On behalf of the Jordan Cigre National Committee

Power Quality and Harmonics Conference of Cigre
which will be held in Jordan from the 3rd to the 5th of
May 2010 under the Patronage of His Excellency the
Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources.
This important event will provide a unique opportunity to
Cigre members and interested power system & industry
professionals to present their technical papers
highlighting the most recent achievements and product
innovations.
The conference will bring together Power System Engineers, Decision Makers,
Professionals from the industrial sector, and Academic Institutions in an open forum
where all participants will have the chance to learn about the latest products and
technological innovations in the Power Industry Sector.
The organization of this conference that takes place in the Hashemite Kingdom of
Jordan reflects the National Policy of His Majesty King Abdullah II; that is to
promote Jordan as a regional leader for hosting conferences, seminars and
workshops, as well as promoting exchange of knowledge and cooperation
worldwide.
I’m confident that this event will be a valuable contribution to the growth and
development of the Power Industry Sector in our region.
