Selecting the right wash?
The first step in selecting a great
car wash is deciding whether you
want a straight car wash or a wash
and wax. Luckily, Malco has a number of great choices for both.
Sheeting vs. Beading?
Malco wash and wax products either sheet or bead. Verry Berry, for
instance, sheets and makes water
roll off of the finish for a spot-free
shine – perfect for washing large
fleets. Ultra Violet, on the other
hand, makes water bead for a
freshly waxed look and high-shine
finish that lasts.
Concentration?
Finally, it’s important to pay attention to dilution ratio. In general,
our liquid car wash products offer
higher dilutions. For example, CW37 can be diluted up to 1:400, while
wash and wax products typically
require more product to achieve
the desired effect.

Choosing the right wheel
cleaner for your needs
Malco wheel cleaners fall into two
categories: caustic cleaners and
acid-based cleaners. Both offer
outstanding cleaning power, but
there are some important differences. First, caustic-based cleaners
like Malco Complete™ are generally safer and provide more complete cleaning of both the wheel
and the tire. However, extremely
dirty wheels with heavy deposits
of baked-on, caked-on brake dust
and grime may require a more aggressive acid-based cleaner like
Power Brite™ or Ultra Shine™. Just
be sure to follow the directions and
safety precautions printed on the
product labels. Please note: if you
use an acid-based wheel cleaner, we recommend using Malco
