Also the Stator magnet is placed only on one side : therefore, the cost of this system is lower
compared to the U-shape Linear Motors.

Platen, Core type, Large Class Linear Motor
ML-PCS series and the PCS series has improved its drive force by applying laminated core inside
the Mover. Optimal design of efficient magnetic circuit offers continuous drive force of 1000N
without a cooling system. Also the Stator magnet is placed only on one side to lower the cost
of the system compare to U-shape linear Motors.
