Luminaire installation and servicing shall only be performed by qualified personnel. This product uses an input 120-277VAC driver with universal wide range voltage. Make sure the supply voltage is the same as the rated luminaire voltage. Mounting surface must be specified to properly support the weight of the luminaire Do not install in hazardous environment. Do not operate in ambient temperatures above those indicated on the luminaire label. Use UL listed wire rated for at least 90 C for supply connections. Allow sufficient cool-down time prior to handling and/or servicing luminaire. Failure to provide proper luminaire grounding may result in serious personal injury. ° DO NOT OPERATE IF CRACKED OR BROKEN Introduction This LED Flood light luminaire uses the latest in solid state lighting technology for long life, low maintenance, and high efficiency. These FG Floodlight models can replace traditional HID lighting for area lighting. An internal power-factor-corrected switch mode Suitable for Wet Locations, and Ambient supply, allows for use from any nominal 120V- Temperatures from -20°C to 35°C for 50 watt 277V, 60Hz AC supply without any variation in light models, and -20°C to 40°C, for 30 Watt models. output. 30W or 50W options. Yoke or Knuckle Mount options with adjustable light angle. 1 Eqs3325 Rev: A Tools and Materials required: (not provided) Installation is completed using ordinary tools including: #2 Phillips Screwdriver or Socket head Screwdriver Socket or wrench Mounting Hardware (provided by others) Install Instructions: Notes: Inspect luminaire for defects prior to installation. If defects are noticed then do not install and contact the manufacture immediately. STEP 1: Starting Installation [Yoke Mount] Models FGY-30L-408-W-UNV-XX and FGY-50L-408-W-UNV-XX Ensure supply power is turned off. Refer to Fig. 1 (for 30W) or Fig 2 (for 50W) hole pattern dimensions. FGY-30L-408-W-UNV-DB FIG 1 Fig 2 Use chosen hardware, level and secure luminaire to the mounting surface. Leave enough wire length to ensure that you can adjust the fixture angle unhindered. See Fig 3 Adjust the fixture to desired angle using the adjustment screws on the side of the fixture yoke mount. See Fig 4 Fig 3 Fig 4 EQS3325 2 [Knuckle Mount] Models FGK-30L-408-W-UNV-XX and FGK-50L-408-W-UNV-XX The knuckle mount can be mounted directly to the ½” NPT in the junction cover-plate, or other surface. Carefully feed the wires through the hole, and secure the threads of the knuckle with a ½”NPT conduit nut. (not provided). See Fig 5. Adjust the fixture to desired angle using the adjustment screw on the side of the knuckle mount. See Fig 6 Fig 5 Fig 6 STEP 2: Electrical Connections With power turned off, strip wires length as defined by wire nut manufacture. Straighten wires and align frayed strands, insert into wire nut, then twist clockwise until tight. Refer to Wiring instructions section and Figure 7 for detailed instructions. Perform a visual inspection of connections and perform a luminaire light up test. Wiring Instructions Connect the luminaire AC cord to a UL listed junction box with UL listed wire nuts on terminal block per the following: ▪ Black wire: Line (AC L) ▪ White wire: Neutral Wire (AC N) FIG.7 ▪ Green wire: Ground (GND) Wiring Diagram Final Instructions Inspect that the luminaire is firmly attached Inspect that the wires are connected correctly If satisfied, apply power and inspect that the luminaire is operating. If not, turn off the power and contact manufacturer for assistance. 3 EQS3325
