WHY DO I NEED WATERPROOF MATTING?
The damage caused by tiled areas that have not been sealed properly can be extensive and costly. Substrates
such as wooden floors move with temperature change and pull the tiled area with them, expanding the floor at
the weakest points. This will eventually cause cracks to appear in the grout joints and tiles, through which water
can penetrate. Water resistant adhesives, grouts and sealants will not necessarily be enough to maintain a
watertight seal.

• Prevents costly damage to your timber frames, building joints and plaster boards caused by leaks

WHY USE DURABASE CI++?

are fully filled with adhesive, leaving no air pockets or voids.
Note: Never seal the edges of the Durabase matting
with silicone or mastic - leave space for expansion
and air circulation as this enables moisture trapped
under the mat to evaporate.
