DESCRIPTION
TRACE*LITE’s second generation TL410-IND series induction garage
lighter is specifically designed for the unique thermal management required
by induction lamps and generators. The induction lamp and lens assembly
is sealed and gasketed while the enclosure for the generator is thermally
isolated from the lamp assembly to ensure that the generator can operate at
the coolest temperature possible.
SPECIFICATIONS
Construction:
The TL410-IND is constructed of durable, corrosion resistant, die-cast
aluminum featuring two integral assemblies designed to thermally isolate
the two components that generate heat. The induction lamp and prismatic
polycarbonate lens assembly is IP65 rated dust-tight and protected against
low pressure jets of water from all directions, while the generator enclosure
is IP53 rated to provide protection from dust and spraying water to allow
for proper ventilation. The lamp/lens assembly is thermally isolated from
the generator enclosure allowing for maximum heat dissipation allowing the
end-user to benefit from the full 100,00hr+ lifetime performance potential of
the induction system.
Optics:
The prismatic polycarbonate lens on the TL410-IND provides ideal diffusion
and distribution of light with excellent efficiency. The polycarbonate lens
also provides a superior level of protection for the induction lamp itself. The
optic assembly is dust-tight to minimize the ingress of dirt that causes lumen
depreciation.
Electrical:
The TL410-IND utilizes an electronic generator that produces a high
frequency current that is controlled by an integrated circuit (IC) chip
allowing for a power factor up to 96% with a THD of >10%. The TL410-IND
has a standard input of 120~277VAC 50/60Hz that generates a very low
250KHz operating frequency and meets FCC and CE certification for EMC
electromagnetic compatibility.

Lamps:
The TRACE*LITE TL410-IND series is available with a choice of 6 wattages
starting from a 40W induction lamp that can replace a 70W traditional HID
lamp, up to a 150W induction lamp that replaces a 250W traditional HID lamp
(see table on page 2 for complete lamp performances). The induction lamps
used in the TL410-IND provide a CRI of >80 and maintain nearly 70% of the
lamp’s initial lumen output after 100,000 hours of operation. Standard CCT is
5000K, consult factory for availability of other color temperatures.
Installation:
TRACE*LITE’s TL410-IND is ideal for mounting to any vertical surface
in either a surface mount configuration over a standard J-box or can be
suspended using a pendant mount. The TL410-IND is designed for easy
installation by a single person which can translate to substantial labor
savings. Swivel mounting brackets for either round or square J-boxes are
also available.
Dimming (Option: DIMST & DIM010V):
The TL410-IND series from TRACE*LITE is available with two different
dimming options. The “DIMST” provides a step dimming option for fixed
outputs of 0%/50%/100% and is ideal for simple dimming applications
using motion control sensors, photoelectric switches or time clock controls.
The “DIM010V” option is for applications requiring a fixture compatible with
0-10V dimming control systems and includes a generator that has 0-10V
control leads. The dimming options available allow the TL410-IND to qualify
for many energy rebate programs across the country that help offset initial
systems costs.

Warranty:
Any housing component that fails due to manufacturer’s defect is
guaranteed for two years from time of shipment. Induction lamps
and generators are not manufactured by TRACE*LITE and will be
warranted by the manufacturer for a period of five years. TRACE*LITE
will act as an agent for these suppliers and assist in any way possible.
Warranty does not apply to damages caused by improper installation,
abuse, fire, or acts of God.
