Ternary form. The music follows an A A B A pattern. The first section (A) is
repeated and followed by a contrasting section (B) before returning to the
opening idea (A) again.

Binary Form. The first section ends away from the tonic key. The second

for Baroque pieces in binary form to repeat the opening idea at the end of the
