CREATE YOUR OWN CRUISE
Booking a private cruise is easy!
Just follow the steps below.
1. Settle on your date and time. Having an alternate date and time is not a bad idea.
2. Compile your guest list. Each dinner cruise will hold up to 20 guests, so having more
than 20 guests is not a problem, but we will have to book multiple boats.
3. Call or email us your dates and estimated head counts, so we can secure a boat or
boats. The further out we know your date the better, so we can confirm availability of
the boat(s). Our standard cruise is approximately 1 1/2 hours (15 minutes set-up, 1
hour cruise, and 15 minutes break down). If you think you would like a longer cruise,
let us know that too, so we can make sure we schedule the boat(s) for the appropriate
amount of time.
4. Review the attached menus and menu selections. Our food and beverage minimum
for each boat is $300 plus we charge a $350 standard boat set-up fee (covers set-up
and the 1 1/2 hour boat rental).
5. Pay your boat deposit. A deposit is required within 48 hours of us confirming your
date — this is how long the boat company will hold the boats.
6. If your would like us to hire an acoustic musician for your cruise, please let us know at
least a week in advance.
7. Finalize your menu and your head count with us at least a week in advance.
8. Show up and have a great time!
Since we are renting the boats by the hour, and since the boat company charges for
any additional time, please ask your guests to arrive at least 15 minutes before we are
going to leave the dock, and ask them to be on time. This way, we can leave on time.
(Secret...if we are leaving at 7 pm, tell them that we are meeting and leaving at 6:45
pm -this way they will have enough time to check in and use the restroom before we
leave the dock. There is no restroom on the boat.)

Riverboat Catering – for up to 20 guests per river boat.
• Food & Beverage $300 minimum
• 1 ½ hour cruise. (15 minutes set-up, 1 hour cruise, 15 minutes break-down)
Overtime Charge for boat and crew - $175 per half hour or any part thereof.
Standard white linen tablecloths and black linen napkins.
Acoustic Musician available for: $250
Choose from one of the following three menus, and contact us to get started with
your booking!
This information serves as a tool for the extended
planning of your event and does not constitute a
binding contract. Barge time, as available, will be
held on a tentative basis for 10 days. We must
receive the credit card authorization form within
the time allotted to confirm space for your event.
Space becomes available for other clients to book
and on a first come, first served basis.
Menu selection is due 30 days before the event
date. If event books less than 30 days before
event date, we must receive menu selection along
with the deposit to hold the space. Selected menu
must be submitted in writing via email or fax.

receipt of your menu selections, a contract outlining the event details will be forwarded to you for
your final review and signature.
Service charge (20% ) and 8.25% sales tax will be added to prices shown

GENERAL CATERING INFORMATION
Payment
Deposit required prior to booking. Food, beverage, sales
tax and gratuity charges will bill at completion of event.
Deposit will credit to Food & Beverage total.
Overtime
We connot guarantee overtime; available time applies at
the descretion of Rio San Antonio Cruises (RSAC).
Overtime will incure additional charges.
Inclement Weather
Rio San Antonio Cruises provides an inclement weather
policy to ensure the safety of our customers. RSAC
reserves the right to cancel boat cruises or temporarily
suspend service due to inclement weather and or
predictions. If RSAC cancels an event, a weather backup
location within the resaurant will be arranged by the
restaurant management. The client will receive full refund
for all weather-related cancellations.
Weather Conditions:
• Temperatures 100+ degrees with clear or partly cloudy
skies are considered normal conditions in South Texas
and are not a considered reason for cancellation.
• Temperatures below 40 degrees are considered
extreme and may result in cancellation.
• Light rain or sprinkles are not considered reason for
cancellation.
• Downpours, heavy rain, and thunderstorms are considered reason for cancellation.
• High or gusty winds exceeding 25 mph are considered
reason for cancellation.
Cancellations:
We must receive all cancellations in writing. Please fax
cancellation to 210.225.7669 and follow with phone
notification. All cancellation requests received 30 days
prior to event date will incur a 50% charge of the guaranteed or estimated number of guests. All cancellation
requests received with less than 30 days of event date will
incur 100% of event cost.
IF A BARGE IS CANCELLED BY THE EVENT CONTACT, IT
MUST BE IN WRITING. UPON RECEIPT OF CANCELLATION,
THE DEPOSIT WILL BE FORFEITED.

Smoking:
The City Of San Antonio has passed a Non-Smoking
Ordinance which forbids anyone to smoke on the Riverwalk and inside any restaurant. Should your guests start
smoking during your event they will be informed of the
non-smoking ordinance and they will be ask to put out
their cigarette or cigar.
Food and Beverages:
All food and beverage served on the barge must be
provided by the restaurant. Menu selections and other
details must be supplied to the Catering manager at least
four (4) weeks prior to the date of the function. Food and
beverages are not permitted to leave the barge. In case of
overage in guarantees, the food and beverage are the
sole property of the restaurant.
If the client wishes to bring in an outside cake, the client is
acknowledging that we will not be held responsible for
cakes brought in or delivered, as we have no guarantee
that food safety guidelines have been met by the outside
vendor. The client will need to sign waiver upon signing of
contract.
To abide all Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission
laws NO ALCOHOL, including wine, can be brought on
property and consumed. All beverages must be
purchased from us.
Rentals and Goods Brought Into Restaurant:
In the event you choose to bring anything ionto the cruise
that is not booked or arranged through the restaurant, the
restaurant is not liable for such items in the event they are
lost, left behind, stolen or damaged. Items of example, but
not limited too: audio visual equipment, entertainment,
cakes, centerpieces, cameras, cake cutters, flowers,
champagne flutes and decorations.
Guarantee:
We require a guaranteed attendance number (10)
business days before scheduled event via fax or email.
Upon receipt of guaranteed number, no reductions will
apply. Client bill will reflect guaranteed number, even if
fewer guests attend event.
If client does not provide guarantee, bill will reflect, at the
minumum, the expected number of guests—regardless of
actual attendance.
