Amersham Biosciences Kvick cassettes feature very sharp rejection curves, ensuring
that the cut-off you specify is the one you realize, time after time. After all, shouldn’t

IS THERE A HOLE IN THEIR STORY TOO?
In the past, a good number of our customers have heard a few tall tales from some
of our competitors. And while we enjoy healthy competition, we won’t tolerate
unfounded disparagement.
The fact is, traditional membranes contain macrovoids in their substructure.These
macrovoids subvert the strength of the membrane and increase the risk of
membrane rupture, compromising your results. Under process conditions, these
macrovoids may lead to “pinhole” imperfections, resulting in lower product
recovery or filtration failures.
Borrowing from our hollow fiber technology, we have developed a series of high
flux-rate, macrovoid-free Kvick cassette membranes that provide higher membrane
strength, longer-term stability, superior retention and high temperature stability.
