The Simkar SDC Die-Cast Aluminum LED Exit Light equipped with snap-fit
directional arrows and SIMKAR’s easy connect installation feature, is available
with multiple finishes for an upscale appearance.

HOUSING Die-cast aluminum low profile (ADA compliant)
housing, brushed aluminum, black or white finish. Brushed
aluminum, black or white finish faceplates with concealed
snap out directional arrows. Faceplates are tethered to the
fixture housing for quicker installation.
ILLUMINATION Ultra-bright, energy efficient, long lasting
Red or Green LED.
ELECTRICAL Dual 120/277V voltage. Charge rate/power
on LED indicator light and push-to-test switch for mandated
code compliance testing. LVD (low voltage disconnect)
prevents battery from deep discharge.
TRANSFER/CHARGING CIRCUITRY Internal solid state
transfer switch automatically connects the internal battery
to LEDs for minimum 90-minute emergency illumination.
Fully automatic solid-state, two-rate charger initiates
battery charging to recharge a discharged battery in 24
hours.
BATTERY Emergency battery backup (option B) equipped
with 4.8V nickel-cadmium, maintenance-free, rechargeable
battery. Dual circuit operation (option 2CIRCUIT) provides
two transformers to meet special code requirements. (AC
units only)
MOUNTING Side, top, or back mounting with die-cast
aluminum universal mounting canopy or easy connect back
plate, which fit most standard junction boxes.
OPTIONS Tamper-proof (TP) hardware helps prevent
unauthorized access to the unit. Self-diagnostic (SD)
feature performs monthly, biannual, and annual tests to
ensure reliable operation and meet electrical and life safety
codes. Dual circuit option (2C) on the AC-only unit enables
it to be connected to two different (one acting as a back-up
to the other) supplies at the same time.
LISTINGS Meets UL924, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, NEC,
OSHA, Local and State Codes. ETL listed for damp locations,
-4°F (-20˚C) – 122°F (50˚C).
