President’s Corner: Welcome to the 2016 WGC season!
I’m hoping to see all of you at our annual meeting on Monday
(2/15) when we’ll share our planning to date on the new
season. Hit 'em straight. Don Gellenbeck

Please remember to check our club’s eClubhouse site
(http://www.ghin.com/) each month for club news,
tournament info and pairings, scores, etc. The mobile app
version of GHIN.com doesn’t allow access to the
eClubhouse site, so use your use the URL and sign in as
an egolfer. At the bottom of the “myGame” box (upper right hand corner), the
“Woodcroft Golf Club” should be automatically filled in as the eClubhouse, so just hit
“Go”. To register as an egolfer, you’ll need your GHIN# and this link:
http://www.ghin.com/egolfer/register.aspx . Any board member can provide you your
GHIN # to get started.

PayPal Option for 2016: The Board is actively trying to establish a PayPal account to
allow members to pay fees online. More details will be shared at the annual meeting.
Ballot for the 2016 Board of Directors Election: As past President, Darryl Wolford
was appointed as the 2016 BOD Nominating Committee Chair and he has jointly put
together the 2016 BOD ballot with Jim Vickery, Lewis Ernest and Patty Tinker. Per our

Bylaws, this ballot has been shared with you prior to our annual meeting. We will vote on this ballot at our annual
meeting, but you can submit your ballot any time up to the vote on 2/15/16.
Woodcroft Golf Association 2016 Board of Directors Ballot
December 21, 2015
The Woodcroft Golf Association (WGA) is conducting the annual election of its Board of Directors (Board). Balloting
will take place from now through the Annual Membership Meeting expected to be held in February 2016. Note that a
separate announcement will be sent to all members with the date, time and location of this meeting.
This election is being coordinated by Darryl Wolford (ddwolf@bellsouth.net) as past president and Chair of the
Nominating Committee. Other members include Jim Vickery, Lewis Ernest and Patty Tinker.
All five of the current 2015 board members, Susan Wood, Doug Noell, Chris Rook, Bill McGee and Don Gellenbeck
have expressed their willingness to continue in service on the 2016 Board. The Nominating Committee has met in
accord with Article 4 of the WGA By-Laws to consider candidates for the 2015 Board and has unanimously agreed to
place this same slate of officers in nomination.

Course Selections for 2016
As with past annual meetings, members offer suggestions for course selections. We’ve also solicited feedback during
the last monthly outing of the previous season. Each year, we try to identify new courses in addition to the tried and
true locations for WGC. Typically courses are grouped relative to our base of RTP. We strive to select courses no
more than 40 miles from our “center” of RTP. In addition, we strive to spread it around so that the geographical region
is represented (as is our membership).

resolve those with Chris at the time you renew your 2016 membership or prior to any tournament registration. Any
credits owed to a non-member that has not been claimed for one year will be returned to the general WGC fund.
These credits are as of 12/31/15, so should not include any membership renewals for 2016, but any end of season
credits – Myrtle Beach prizes, Club Championship winnings, Most Improved Golfer winners and Golfer of the Year
winnings – are included. These credits will be recapped in the first 2016 NL.
