Junior Engineer/Back Office Engineer (NGN, Access)

Basic information:



Working Location: Cyberjaya Selangor (Important: NO problem at all
to travel Cyberjaya)
Working hours: Willing to work shift work (a minimum of 1 week of
mid night shift work in a month)
On job training: will be provided; After a minimum of 5 months of service,
Paracell will provide an employment testimonial certificate and
act as reference/referee in future.
Requirement:




Experience: Fresh graduate/6 months - 1 year working experience in any
telecommunication company.
Education: Diploma/Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering /
Communication Engineering or equivalent.
Speaking: Mandarin is a PLUS
Contract period: 10 months (Mar/Apr 2014 – Dec 2014)
Job Requirement:




Experience in fault, configuration, performance, security management.
Good knowledge of the NGN network topology, traffic handling capabilities &
traffic characteristics
Able to demonstrate fault identification and troubleshooting skills.
Experience in major network management system eg
NGN core network (SoftX3000, SG7000, UMG8900, LIG, iGWB, XPTU),

AG & MSAN (UA5000) and EMS (N2000 UMS, BMS, DMS, i2000).
Good verbal and communication skills (English is a must, Malay and Chinese
is a PLUS).
Responsibilities:









Responsible to provide second level support in fault management,
configuration, performance, security management for the NGN network.
Properly judge the complexity of the Fault, configuration, and performance
call for multiple expertise support and/or escalate to Huawei Technical
Assistance Centre (TAC) (3rd line support) or Vendor Engineer effectively.
Cooperate in multiple expertise Fault handling, configuration, and
performance management.
To ensure the job tasks are carried out in accordance to the SLA (Service
Level Agreement) and KPI (Key Performance Indicator).
Responsible to handle the fault which are failed to solve by the first line
engineer in Front Office.
Prepare restoration plan in the event of critical incident.
To provide monthly report for queries, statistic and trend.
Monitor statistical report
Fault report management report etc
