back to homepage While a majority of the world's current electricity supply is generated from fossil fuels such as coal, oil and natural gas, these traditional energy sources face a number of challenges including rising prices, security concerns over dependence on imports from a limited number of countries which have significant fossil fuel supplies, and growing environmental concerns over the climate change risks associated with power generation using fossil fuels. As a result of these and other challenges facing traditional energy sources, governments, businesses and consumers are increasingly supporting the development of alternative energy sources and new technologies for electricity generation. Renewable energy sources such as solar, and wind power generation have emerged as potential alternatives which address some of these concerns Solar is the fastest growing energy source in the world, and for good reason. It offers a limitless supply of clean, safe, renewable energy for heat and power. And it’s more affordable, more efficient, and more reliable than ever. The advantages of Solar and other renewable power sources are clear: Greater independence from imported fossil fuels, a cleaner environment, diversity of power sources, and relief from the volatility of energy prices, More jobs and greater domestic economic development. ACDC Dynamics’ Passion is providing comprehensive and professional photovoltaic systems for industrial and residential areas. We pride ourselves in creating innovative products such as PV grid-connection power systems. And offer our clients consultation during the design; production and installation stages of custom projects, all the while maintaining strict quality control. Therefore we as ACD/DC Dynamics decided to launch the new AC/DC Green Energy Solutions Company. This is a new company which will specialize in providing turnkey solutions to enterprise clients where their needs include one or more of the following. Reduced carbon footprint Reduction of electricity costs Optimization of installation and processes Monitoring and management of PFC and energy usage On/Off balance sheet rental solutions On/Off grid power generation solutions All products supplied will come from AC/DC Dynamics. Leads obtained from Franchises and Distributors will be quoted through those companies. However, this new company supplies solutions, of which the product only forms a part. AC/DC Green Energy Solutions will not refer any business through a Dynamics business channel. ACDC Dynamics focus on the development, production and sales of photovoltaic systems and they can supply all the items you need in this industry with our sustainable energy solution catalogue. We consider technological innovation to be the core of our production philosophy. Our main products include Solar panels, PV inverters, solar mountings, PV Power Systems and Solar Street lights and their dedicated sales and technical services team is ready to provide you with a complete solution for clean energy and PV Systems. The basic element of a PV system is the solar cell or PV cell. Exposed to light, they produce dc electricity. These are assembled and incorporated into PV modules which are also commonly known as solar modules or solar panels – But the latter term can be misleading as it is also used to refer to the solar thermal flat plate collectors used in solar water heating systems. PV uses the light from the sun not the heat. All the PV modules connected together in a system are referred to as the PV array, or solar array and solar generator. The whole system is known as a PV system (or Solar system/solar electric system), which can either be connected to the electricity grid (grid--‐tied) or not (standalone). Large solar systems usually referred to as solar power stations A solar panel consists of many cells. These cells are produced from silicon. Each silicon solar cell contains only 0.5 volt D.C. So these cells cannot work separately. To increase the voltage many cells are connected by series--‐ parallel combination. These cells are then framed and called solar panel. Parallel Connection: In parallel connection, voltage remains constant but current is increased. So to achieve more current with constant voltage two or more solar panels are connected in parallel. Series Connection: In series connection, current remains constant but voltage is increased. So to achieve more voltage with constant current two or more solar panels are connected in series. Components of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems ACDC Dynamics stand behind the longevity of their solar panels and systems – so much so that they guarantee they’ll perform at 90 percent capacity after 10 years and 80 percent after 25 years. Their CE- , IEC- and Rohs-certified monocrystalline and polycrystalline solar panels are available in 5 to 270W configurations and they’re all checked for quality using the latest light spectrum testing equipment.
