International Internship Programs Language Requirements
Please check the language level requirements specified by each company/institution before you apply.
English Language
English FAIR corresponds to a level B2 from 18/30 to 24/30
English FLUENT corresponds to minimum a level B2 from 25/30 and above
Candidates must possess the English language requirements as specified by the offers they wish to apply for.
Should these not be verified by the following, candidates will be excluded from selections:
Nationality
Candidates' mother tongue is recognized as a language requirement (in case
of double nationality additional documentation to prove it may be required).
Secondary School Diploma
Secondary School Diploma awarded in English satisfies the language
requirement (FAIR and FLUENT) - please send by mail to
silvia.terrenghi@unibocconi.it a certificate to prove this.
University Degree
University degree course taught in English satisfies the language
requirement (FAIR and FLUENT) - please send by mail to
silvia.terrenghi@unibocconi.it a certificate to prove this if the Degree has not
been obtained in Bocconi.
Bocconi Language exam
It must be registered in your academic career by the application deadline.
International Language Certificate
accepted by the Bocconi Language
Centre
It must be registered in your academic career by the application deadline.
If the Certificate has NOT been registered and IS VALID (all certificates last 3
years except TOEFL that only last 2 years) please send a copy of it by mail to
silvia.terrenghi@unibocconi.it.
Bocconi International Study Abroad
Programs AND Exchange Programs
through other Universities
Study Abroad Programs with English as language of instruction completed
for a minimum period of one term are accepted as a language requirement
(FAIR and FLUENT). In this case there is no need to send additional
documentation to prove this.
Exchange Programs with English as language of instruction, completed for a
minimum period of one term, through another University, are accepted as a
language requirement (please send by mail to silvia.terrenghi@unibocconi.it
a certificate to prove this).
Previous participation to Bocconi
International Internship Programs
If you already applied to the International Internship Programs and the
English language requirements were satisfied there is no need to send
additional documentation to check the language.
Other languages
For all other languages required by the Companies/Institutions, candidates are encouraged to send proof of
the language knowledge, by sending any language certificate obtained and by clearly declaring them in
their cv.
Please note that language knowledge may be tested directly by the host companies/institutions, therefore
please check carefully the languages required and only apply if you are confident working in them.
Please Note
 Some companies/institutions may require specific language levels (e.g. C1) or specific international
certificates. Please check the language level requirements specified by each company/institution before
you apply.
 No languages tests are organized by Bocconi starting from September 2014. The requirements are verified
as described above.
