Solution
Innovation. It drives us. High performance signal
processing solutions require a range of proprietary
manufacturing capabilities integrated into a flexible
supply chain that is responsive to our customers’
needs. At ADI we balance internal manufacturing
capabilities with external sources for fabrication,
assembly, and final testing. We have longstanding
partnerships with the industry’s premier wafer
foundry, assembly, and testing subcontractors.
This provides us with access to diverse process
technologies and capacities that, together with our
internal sources, allows us to respond to customer
needs on short notice. A leading-edge supply chain
information management system optimizes order
execution, ensuring on-time delivery commitments.
Within our industry, the ADI brand is synonymous with
high quality and reliable products. Our success in
markets that have the most demanding quality
requirements, such as automotive, defense/aerospace,
and ATE, demonstrates this. All ADI’s development
and manufacturing sites and those of our external
partners are ISO/TS 16949 certified, ensuring a
comprehensive quality system modeled on stringent
automotive industry requirements. As part of our
new product release process, ADI products and
manufacturing processes undergo extensive reliability
tests, which validate market readiness. Following
market release, monitoring continues to ensure that
the reliability standard is maintained. Continuous
improvement is an essential element in meeting the
ever-increasing demands of our customers. Achieving
“zero defects” for shipped products is ADI’s goal.
Accordingly, process monitoring, failure analysis, and
customer feedback serve as inputs into a Total Quality
Management system focused on defect prevention.
With a system this comprehensive, we are able to
manufacture, supply, and deliver high volumes of
products having lifecycles that exceed those of typical
semiconductors.
