Samsung’s Hybrid Connector Cabling (HCC) solution dramatically simplifies
and reduces the cost of upgrade or replacement of traditional base station
configurations with the latest distributed base station architectures. It provides a
fluid interconnection from the Digital Unit (DU) cabinet to the Remote Radio Head
(RRH) with a factory assembled end-to-end solution of optical and fiber cables
and a distribution enclosure. Samsung HCC helps you lower the effort and cost of
installation with minimal impact at the tower.

Samsung HCC Type R1 (Replaceable body type) is designed to provide maximum flexibility at installation,
ongoing expandability and reliability long after installation is completed. You can simply connect more jumper
cables from the saved Hybrid sockets to additional RRHs later as capacity growth dictates.
EXPANDABILITY This type offers you the flexibility for future expansion, based on the ease
of installing jumper cables when additional RRHs are deployed. This is thanks to the one-touch
connection structure that allows the jumper cables to connect via the distribution enclosure.
EASY MAINTENANCE If the jumper cables need to be changed or fixed, only the jumpers will
require modification or replacement for reducing future maintenance and repair costs/time.
HIGH QUALITY We reinforce the quality with weather proof hybrid IP connectors on the
distribution enclosures and ultra-bend insensitive fiber in outdoor harsh environments. And all the
products are individually tested and supplied with measurement details with protective and safe
packaging.

Samsung HCC Type A1 (All-in-One body type) is the most efficient RRH connection solution in terms of ease
of installation, cost and limited space on the mast. To simplify installations, whole solution from DU to RRH
connection part is preconnected all-in-one including distribution enclosure seamlessly. It is a true PLUG & PLAY.
FIELD EFFICIENCY It is the most efficient and easiest-to-install solution with plug and play.
It can be installed in one step without additional handling because the jumper cables are preconnected in the distribution enclosure.
RELIABILITY We can optimize signal transmission by eliminating risk of splicing loss, since
Optical fiber are connected to the RRH from DU without any splicing or termination.
COST-EFFECTIVENESS With an optimized all-in-one product design with robust and sturdy
polycarbonate enclosure and pre-terminated connectors, the solution enables dramatically cost
