Tentative Schedule for Mi-STAR Project – Partner University Involvement
Prepared March 8, 2015
This tentative schedule has been prepared to provide everyone with a sense of what is planned for the Mi-STAR project. It is important however for users of this
schedule to understand that Mi-STAR is an ambitious project and mid-project modifications to the schedule will be necessary. Updated (and dated) versions of
this schedule will be issued at the end of each trimester to promote communication. Other opportunities may arise and information about them will be
communicated as it becomes available. Please see accompanying detailed information.
Types of university collaboration in the Mi-STAR project:

The Partner University Collaboration Team (CT) is responsible for coordinating unit development at regional hubs and recruitment of individual faculty
participants (and may also serve as curriculum development team members or on-call faculty). This group includes Dr. Jackie Huntoon (MTU), Dr. Steve
Mattox (GVSU), Dr. Heather Petcovic (WMU), Dr. Kaz Fujita (MSU), Dr. Tom Kovacs (EMU), and Dr. Mark Francek (CMU).
Curriculum Development Team Members* (CDTM) work as part of a teacher team [or teams] on unit development in the summer.
On-call Faculty (OCF) are not standing curriculum team members but are available as needed for short consultations on unit development and review.
Curriculum Review Team Members* (CRTM) review previously developed curriculum units, providing recommendations for improvement
