PISA PRODUCTS LICENCE
This licence is granted by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in accordance with
the goals of the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) to allow free access to trustworthy
information and data on the knowledge and skills of students worldwide and the performance of their education
systems. The term “You” referenced in the present licence refers to users of any OECD PISA content, including PISA
reports or publications, PISA Questionnaires or part thereof, individual questions or sample tasks, data or statistics
based on PISA studies, and any other content that may be accessed through any PISA related website (collectively
referred to as “PISA Products”) in accordance with the terms set forth in the present licence.
You are allowed to share, copy, extract from, and distribute PISA Products and parts thereof to third parties for noncommercial purposes. You may integrate PISA Products, or parts thereof, without modification, in your own materials.
You agree to include attribution to the OECD by stating the “OECD”, Product name, source (link to Product(s) website),
and date of publication. Except for attribution, You are not entitled to use any OECD or PISA name, acronym,
trademark, or any other official mark or logo of the OECD, nor may You represent or imply any association,
sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation of the OECD or the PISA programme. With the exception of PISA data and
statistics, which may be used for commercial purposes, any commercial use of all other PISA Products or parts thereof
is strictly prohibited unless such use is expressly authorised by the OECD. All requests for commercial use and
translation rights must be submitted to rights@oecd.org. OECD Publications, 2 rue André-Pascal, 75775 PARIS Cedex
16, FRANCE.
ALL PISA PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED ON A STRICTLY “AS IS” BASIS. THE OECD DISCLAIMS ALL
WARRANTIES, BOTH EXPRESS AND IMPLIED, OF ANY KIND RELATED TO THE USE OF PISA PRODUCTS. IN
PARTICULAR, ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, FITNESS FOR USE OR PARTICULAR PURPOSE
ARE DISCLAIMED. PLEASE NOTE THAT OTHER PARTIES MIGHT HAVE AN OWNERSHIP INTEREST IN
CERTAIN PISA PRODUCTS OR PARTS THEREOF. THE OECD NEITHER WARRANTS NOR REPRESENTS THAT
IT OWNS OR CONTROLS ALL PRODUCTS OR PARTS THEREOF OR RIGHTS THEREIN. THE OECD SHALL NOT
BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY OTHER PARTY FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE OF ANY TYPE
INCURRED IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF PISA PRODUCTS OR PARTS THEREOF IN ANY MANNER.
The OECD reserves its privileges and immunities and, in allowing access to PISA Products, does not limit or waive any
of these rights. By using PISA Products in any manner, You agree to submit any dispute which may arise between You
and the OECD in relation thereto, which cannot be settled amicably, to arbitration before a sole arbitrator chosen by
agreement. Where You and the OECD cannot agree on the choice of arbitrator, either You or the OECD may ask the
First President of the Court of Appeal of Paris (Cour d’Appel de Paris) to appoint the arbitrator. Arbitration shall take
place in Paris, France. The language shall be English. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding.
If You share with, sub-licence or otherwise transfer PISA Products to any other user, You must pass on the present
licence, including attribution obligations, to that user and require that they pass them on to any further users.
