Navigating through the program is designed to be simple and intuitive—so you can instantly choose and display the activity of your choice. Each activity features a “Print” button at the top of the screen. Just click on this button to make a printout of the activity to use for reference or as a reproducible worksheet for students. At the bottom of each activity screen is a “Help” button. Clicking on this button will activate the Help function, which allows you to roll the cursor over the different on-screen elements for a brief explanation of each one. Using the CD-ROM You can display the activities on a large monitor or project them through an LCD projector for whole-class lessons or review. The activities included on the CD-ROM are perfect for daily problem solving practice or as a warm-up activity to get students ready for math lessons. They are also an ideal way to teach students test-taking skills and prepare them for standardized tests. Place the CD-ROM in your CD drive. 2. The Installer will automatically start, guiding you through the installation process. 2. The CD-ROM window will open in the Finder. 3. Double-click on the install package to begin the installation process. 4. The Installer will guide you through the installation process. NOTE: Acceptance of the license agreement is required for installation of the software. How to Run the Software There are two ways to start the program: 1. Double-click on the icon on your desktop. 2. Click on Start > Programs > Lakeshore > Math TestTaking Strategies Grades 3-4. Uninstalling the Software 1. From the Control Panel window, click on “Add or Remove Programs.” 2. Click on “Lakeshore® Math Test-Taking Strategies Grades 3-4.” 3.
