TENDER FOR CHOCOLATE TRANSPORTATION
Dear Sir,
Subject :- Enquiry for transportation of “CHOCOALTE TRANSPORT” from Mogar chocolate
plant Amul Dairy anand to Mother Dairy, Village : Bhat, Dist. Gandhinagar in load 5 MT in
insulate vehicles.
We invite your most competitive rates for transportation of chocolate products from above
mentioned destination in insulated vehicle.
(1) Kindly refer terms and conditions for tender at Annexure-1.
(2) The quotation format is attached at Annexure-2.
(3) Normally there are 4 trip in the month and it may be 6 to 8 trip in Ice cream summer
season.

Terms & Conditions for Transportation of Chocolate Contract:1. Period of the contract would be from 1st December 2014 to 30th November 2015
2. The offer should be sent in sealed envelope super scribing top left corner “Offer for
transportation of Chocolate”. The offer should reach at Mother Dairy Village: Bhat Dist.
Gandhinagar.
3. Rates should be valid for one year from date of award of contract. Mother Dairy will not
give any fuel rate hike up to 5% as compared to existing fuel rates. Only in case of
fuel hike beyond 5%, your demand for fuel hike may be considered. In this case the
decision of General Manager will be final and binding.
4. Rates should be quoted on per trip basis for 5 MT, including taxes, etc. in the attached
format at Annexure-2 only.
5. The delivery of Chocolate should be on FOR Mother Dairy, Nr. Indira Bridge, Village
Bhat, Dist. Gandhinagar basis.
6. You will submit transportation bills on every 1 st of every month. Payment will be made
within 15 days from the date of submission of your bill by cheque/fund transfer .
No cash payment will be made at Dairy.
7. Transport co. shall take full insurance policy for truck provided. In addition to this liability
for the taxes of RTO shall be borne by transporter. All toll tax/ road tax/ bridge tax etc..
will be borne by the transporter.
8. For loading of chocolate at Mogar plant you need to take Delivery order from Amul
Dairy, anand.
9. Offer received after due date for whatsoever reason may be summarily rejected. Mother
Dairy shall have the right to accept or reject any tender without assigning any reason.
Mother Dairy reserves the right to give 15 days notice to transporter for termination of
contract without assigning reason.
10. For any shortages reported or if any qualitative defects found, an equivalent amount shall
be deducted from your bills.
11. Transporter shall make their own arrangement for transportation of Chocolate in case of
any break down of running truck i.e. truck in transit/ on road trucks
12. Liabilities for employees hired by transporter shall be borne by transporter. Employee of
transport contractor should not smoke, eat pan masala etc. within dairy premises. If any

employee violate this rule, Mother Dairy will charge Rs. 1000/- as penalty, which will be
recovered from transporter’s bill. Kindly note that Mother Dairy is a no smoke zone. MDG
13. has IMS (Integrated Management System ) QMS ISO-9001 :2000, EMS:ISO:14001:2004,
FSMS:ISO:2000:2005 certified Dairy.
14. Transporter will ensure to provide us Chocolate as per the schedule / instruction provided
by Mother Dairy/GCMMF officials from time to time.
15. If transporter can’t provide chocolate in time any kind of loss incurred to Mother Dairy
shall be recovered from bill of transporter or SD, whichever is applicable. We might hire
outside transporter in case of your failure and recover the transport charges from you.
16. For employees hired by transporter, all legal & criminal liability shall be borne by
transporter.
17. Transporter shall provide details like Name & address of their employees to Mother Dairy.
Transporter shall provide their own Identity Card to their employees. Mother Dairy shall
allow only these employees.
18. Transporter will be responsible to observe formalities required to be completed at
concerned check post, octroi post & ensure that there is no default. Taxes as per RTO
norms, duty fee, Tol Tax, Road Tax etc. shall be transporter responsibility. M-pass notices
/ Summons if any served in future by AMC regarding your trucks will be recovered from
your Invoices. We will also recover TA/DA paid to our officers for doing such work on
your behalf.
19. If Mother Dairy stops Chocolate transportation for any reason, Mother Dairy will not pay
any demurrage charges or rebate to transporter for the consequences if any. If any excess
qty than 5 MT transported will be considered on pro rata basis taking base rate of 5 MT.
20. Vehicle should be Closed body insulated vehicle.
21. Decision of SGM , Mother Dairy will be final & binding to all.
22. Gandhinagar jurisdiction shall be applicable for any discrepancies or dispute.
