Lightly wipe ware with a damp sponge to prepare surface for painting. MATERIALS 2553 Medium Ballantyne 2554 Large Ballantyne CN521-8 Kiwi Sprinkles CN524-8 Briarwood Sprinkles CN519-8 Aqua Sprinkles CN142-8 Bright Aqua CN181-8 Light Kiwi SUPPLIES Pencil Assorted Royal Aqualon Brushes Water Detail Brush 2. Draw a diagonal line from the inside corner point of the lowest section of the plate rim to the the outer high point of the plate rim creating an arched sweep. Repeat on each side. 3. Draw three receding circles on corner of the rim. 4. Using Briarwood Sprinkles, paint 3 solid coats on the outer sweep section of the rim. 5. Using Bright Aqua for the Medium Ballantyne plate and Light Kiwi for the Large Ballantyne plate, fill in the circles with 3 solid coats. Tip : For the best coat on the circles, we recommend that the third coat of color be the last item painted on the plate after the third coats of all other colors. 6. Using Kiwi Sprinkles for the Medium Ballantyne plate and Aqua Sprinkles for the Large Ballantyne plate, paint the inside rim’s sweep section and plate base 3 solid coats. Use detail brushes to carefully edge around the circles. 7. To finish the plate, turn the plate over and paint the bottom 3 solid coats of Briarwood Sprinkles. 8. Dip in Pure Brilliance and fire to Cone 06.
