The Web Inquiry Notification System
(WINS): Create New Inquiry
This guide will show you how to create a new inquiry using the Web
Inquiry Notification System (WINS). This will allow a participant to create
a new inquiry for a CUSIP number based on one of the following Inquiry/
Department/Product/Issue types:

Redemptions
Custody
Reorganization
Stock Dividends

1. Click the Create New Inquiry tab
or the Create New Inquiry button.
This will bring you to the Enter
Inquiry Details screen.
If your profile is incomplete, a pop-up
will appear asking you to fill out the
necessary fields. You must fill it out to
continue.
2. Fill out the First Name field, Last
Name field, Contact Number field
and/or the Email Address field.
3. Click the Update button. This will
update your profile and bring you to
the Enter Inquiry Details screen.

Basic Inquiry Details
1. Select the Department.
2. Select the Product.
3. Select the Issue.
4. Type the CUSIP number. It must be a 9 character alphanumeric value.

Selecting the Inquiry Type
The options chosen will affect which
additional options are available.

Validate CUSIP
1. To view the detail of the CUSIP
entered, click the magnifying glass to
the right of the field.
If the CUSIP is invalid, the pop-up will
display an error message.

2. Click the Close button on the CUSIP
Detail pop-up to return to the system.

Additional Inquiry Details
1. Click Continue on the screen where you
selected the Inquiry Type.
2. Depending on the Inquiry Type, the
options you can select in the Additional
Inquiry Details table will be different.

3. Click the Continue button to go to the
Review and Submit Your Inquiry
screen.

Submitting an inquiry
1. To submit the inquiry, click the
Submit Inquiry button.
2. A message will display at the top
of the screen to notify you that
the inquiry has been successfully
created.
3. Click the Return Home button to
head back to the home page.

All Recent Inquiries
You should be able to see the inquiry you just created on the home page.
