3 Supply of essential spares to the extent of 10% subject to minimum of one, for all types of cards/modules, card cage, operating/maintanance
PC, connectors /couplers, fuses, relays, timers etc. used in the EI system. It shall include spares for all type of LEDs, Buttons & Dominos used in control&Indicaton panel. List of spares to be supplied with unit rates should be given by the tenderer along with offer.

19 Laying of 40/33mm dia HDPE Pipe as per approved cable route plan in the excavated trench at 1m. depth.
20 Blowing of OFC through HDPE duct & protective work
(elicited in above item) already provided. Where it is not feasible to blow OFC due to curves, road/track crossings, bridges or for any other reason, OFC shall be drawn/laid manually as per standard procedure. All the equipments and machinery required shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. In case OFC is to be laid adopting Direct in trench method then this item shall be paid as per accepted rate of item no. (6h) of this schedule. OFC and HDPE pipe shall be supplied by the railway.
21 Excavation of pit, casting & plastering of concrete foundation for C.L. main Signal & ladder. as per drg.No.RITES/SIG/GEN/001-98 and TS para 22 & 24. This item includes, Supply of cement, sand, stone chip & mixing in the ratio 1:3:6.

Installation of 2T Derivition joint for jointing of 6 Quad jelly filled cable using Thermo-shrinkable jointing kit and construction of brick chamber for protection of joints with all contractors materials as per drawing No.WCR/Tele/2008/2
Amendment 1. This includes the taping of nominated quad at a specified location and directives of the Railway
Engineer using 27 transformer joint assembly joint assembly already covered under schedule `A' of supply.
The other end of the transformer should be connected to 10 pair PDF jelly filled U/G telephone cable, which is already laid in the trench for this jointing purpose. This jelly filled cable to be taken out of the joint using branch off clip.
While jointing, the necessary precautions to be taken against the moisture etc. The cable ends to be taken out and cleaned before jointing.
All the materials required for the work are to be arranged by the contractor himself at his own cost except Thermoshrinkable jointing kit and 2-T transformer joint assembly, which already covered in supply portion of the schedules.
After jointing the cable through test should the performed such as installation test, etc. If any defect or any damage observed during jointing the contractor should redo the joint.

58 Fabrication of EC socket box, assembly and erection of fabricated assembly at the location indicated in the route chart and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. This includes cutting of rails to required size, supply and welding of GI Pipe and base plate, fixing of EC Socket box, transportion of material to site, digging of pit and erection of whole assembly at site. The work also includes the termination 6 Quad/PDF derivation cable on the strips of 6 pin EC socket inside emergency socket box. The fabrication of EC Socket box shall be done as per

Note: In addition to above, the centre pins of EC sockets shall be terminated with a dedicated pair of 6 Quad cable (Derivated through the tall PDF cable) in the entire block section so as to provide magneto/auto telephone communication from each EC socket.
59 Painting of emergency socket assembly and rail post by applying one coat of red oxide as base colour and then painting the assembly as per zebra painting in white and block colours. The width of each of the black and white colours shall be 100mm. All paints used shall be with ISI mark.
