Our motto is
“Faith, Service, Excellence”
Achieved through a faith-filled curriculum, community service
and academic excellence.
Vision & Mission
St. Bruno Catholic School prepares young people
to meet the challenges of life as Christians with
an atmosphere permeated by faith, a rigorous
curriculum and a legacy of academic excellence
that develops their talents for the future.
Our school provides a Catholic environment that
is committed to educate the whole child. We
“share the spirit” of Jesus Christ, foster leaders
for the future by forming students spiritually and
academically, and teach young people to give back
to the community in acts of loving service.
dissections take place. Our Music department is the finest
in the area, and our Tiger Team are medalists in the annual
Academic Decathlon, a contest with over 1100 student
participants in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
Physical Education
P.E. encourages activities that are developmentally appropriate, including
a comprehensive CYO Athletic Program, the Presidential Fitness Awards,
Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Cross Country and Track. In fact,
many St. Bruno graduates have gone on to receive high school and
college athletic scholarships, participated on U.S. Olympic Teams, and
been recruited into nationally recognized professional sports organizations.
Environment
A safe environment allows for a nurturing learning
experience, and the safety of everyone on the school
grounds is our primary concern. We have controlled access
to the facility during school hours. Staff members are
required to wear name badges at all times, and visitors must
sign in at the school office and be escorted. Additionally, our
school has strategically placed security cameras that monitor
all hallways and building exits, as well as a buzzer and video
access system at the main entrance.

Spiritual Development
Students are formed in their faith in a nurturing, Christ-centered
environment. Religion classes meet daily, and all students attend Mass
as a school weekly. Prayer begins and ends every school day as led
by the Student Council, and each departmentalized class commences
after an opening prayer.
St. Bruno School features Family Units, which are composed of one
student from each grade. Older students assume the leadership role,
learning valuable parenting skills as they mentor younger pupils in
ways that reinforce how our Faith is the foundation of our lives. This
incomparable system of peer faith-sharing builds a strong family spirit
among our students.
St. Bruno Catholic School offers the option of catered hot
and cold lunches for those days when you prefer not to
send a sack lunch from home. Parents can log on to the
website for our vendor, make menu selections up to a
month in advance or as late as the night before, pay online,
and enjoy the convenience of nutritious and delicious
lunches delivered to their children each Monday through
Thursday when school is in session.
