LEVELS OFFERED
Level 1 - S u p e r Simple - (D1 level- Walk Trot rider) 12” XC jumps and 12” Stadium jumps (mostly crossrails))
Dressage test will be Introductory A (walk/trot test)
Level 2 - Moving up Level - (D2 level - Walk/Trot/Canter rider)
18” XC jumps and 18” stadium jumps- no combinations
Dressage test will be 2007 USEF Training Level #1
Starter Level - (D3 level- ready to try more)
2’ to 2’3” XC jumps and 2’3” stadium jumps
Dressage test will be 2010 BN Test A
(This level will be an ESDCTA Starter Level for year end awards and can also
be used to qualify for our ESDCTA Horse Trials Championships to be held at
BCHP’s Schooling HT on Nov. 7, 2010.
Beginner Novice Level XC - BN height of 2’7”, Stadium also 2’7”
Dressage test will be 2010 BN Test B
ENTRIES:
a) Cost per class: Level 1 $75, Level 2 $80, Starter Level $85, Beginner Novice $95, plus all entries must include a HPNJ trailer
in fee of $15 which is not included in the above entry fees. b) There is a $25 non-refundable office fee per entry included in the
above fees. b) Double entries not accepted. c) Non-competing horses must pay a $25 fee, sign in at the office and wear an assigned
number while on the Horse Park grounds. d) No changes to entry after closing date, unless allowed by the secretary, but absolutely no changes will be accepted after Sept. 18th. e) Refunds will be given for cancellations received in writing, email or fax prior
to the closing date, less the $25 office fee. Refunds will be given after the closing date, less the $25 office fee, if the ride times can
be filled from the waiting list. Refunds for stabling will be given if the stalls can be re-rented. No refunds will be given after closing date or for “acts of god” which require management to cancel divisions on day of competition. f) No entries accepted via fax.
g) Coggins within 12 months.
SCHEDULE:
Sat., Sept. 25: Cross country course open for inspection at 3 pm.
Sun. Sept. 26 - 8 am - Dressage (order of go BN, Starter, Level 2, Level 1), Stadium Jumping starts @ 9:30 am
Cross country starts at 10:00 am - rider will jump stadium first and then XC.
AWARDS: Trophy and 8 ribbons in each division, ribbons to 6th place for dressage.
STARTING TIMES: will be emailed and postcards will be sent.
ARENAS: Small arenas - All-weather footing composed of sand and screenings for dressage and stadium arenas.
STABLING: 275 permanent stalls on grounds, $55 / night. Stall doors only provided. Bedding available for purchase. Additional info
from secretary. NO STRAW ALLOWED.
DRESSAGE TESTS: Level 1: Intro Test A, Level 2 - 2007 USET Training Level #1
Starter: 2010 USEF Beginner Novice Test A • Beginner Novice: 2010 USEF Beginner Novice Test B
CROSS COUNTRY:
Lengths and speeds for levels: BN: 1700m @ 325 mpm • Starter: 1500m @ 275 mpm, fence heights -2' to 2'3" and will include
a run through water, Level 2 1500 M @ 250 mpm - ,fence heights 18”, Level 1 1200m @ 225 mpm, fence heights 12” - there will
be no water for levels 1 and 2.
Terrain: Rolling, great footing. Water for Beginner Novice only! Fence heights as listed above.

DIRECTIONS TO THE SHOW GROUNDS:
North and South: NJ Tpk to exit 7A (I-195 East) to Exit 11. Turn left at top of ramp. At Stop sign, turn right on Co 524 Horse
Park is on left 1.5 miles.
From East: Garden State Pkwy to Exit 98 (I-195 West) to Exit 11. Turn right at top of ramp. Follow as above.
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES: Vet & Farrier will be on call during show hours.
OTHER INFORMATION: Divisions will be further divided or combined if entries warrant. State experience on entry. Dogs must be
leashed -preferably left at home! Food available on grounds.
