Elder Affirmation: We are in the period of affirmation for new
elders. Lyn Fross is being asked to return after a one year sabbatical.
James Lochman and Justin Roberts are being asked to serve for the
first time. You’ll find biographical sketches of these men and our current
elders on the handout located on your seat.
DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk
alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go
through separation or divorce alone. The group will meet Monday nights
from 6:30-8:30pm for 13 weeks beginning June 6, 2016 in The Commons.

Horizons: We serve every Tuesday at the soup kitchen, currently
located in St. John’s Parish, 701 Hampshire, from 11:15 to 1:30pm where
we serve food and drinks, chat with the families that are eating the meal
and clean up. If you are interested in serving, please contact Scott Bates
at scott@madisonparkchurch.com or call the office at 217-222-2529.
Horizons is hosting a “Day of Prayer” at their new building on
Wednesday, June 8th. The building is located at 224 S. 8th St. and will
be open from 7:30am - 6:00pm. As you enter on the west side of
the building you will encounter interactive prayer stations. We will be
partnering with other churches from the Quincy area as we pray for one
another and our community.
Foundations Study - Summer 2016: Foundations is a six-week
study about what we believe and how we experience life change. Learn
more about the basics of Christianity and how we aim to live those out
together at Madison Park. Foundations will be offered Sundays at 9:00am
and Wednesdays at 6:30pm beginning June 12. Sign up online at

Men’s Breakfast: Join us Saturday, June 11 for a breakfast feast with
the guys. It’s a great time for men to connect and eat some incredible
food. We’ll meet in the Fellowship Hall at 4700 Broadway at 7am to start
cooking. Breakfast is served at 8am.
Baby Bottle Blitz beginnings this week we’ll be distributing baby
bottles for the Care Net Pregnancy Center’s Baby Bottle Blitz. You are
encouraged to take a bottle home and fill it with your change and return
on Father’s Day. It will go toward funding the services of Care Net.
Bottles can be found at each entrance.
Men’s Bible Study meets every Saturday from 8-9am in the East

diagnosed with any kind of cancer. Find emotional and spiritual support
through education and relationship with other cancer survivors. All are
