The first time you use your Xuron® cutter
you will notice the difference in our tools. The
cutting edges do not line up perfectly. In fact,
this is Xuron’s unique Micro-Shear® blade
bypass cutting method, which we developed
and patented. Compared to traditional wire
cutters that cut by compression (squeezing
the material until it cuts, leaving a spike or pinch
that requires clean-up), the cutting blades of a
Xuron® tool bypass for a sheer cut that leaves
a clean flat surface. See diagram below:

Similar to the model 170-II in size
and shape, but its cutting edges are
harder, making it perfect for cutting
flexible stranded bead wire without
damage to cutting edges. Can be used for
cutting soft wire up to 18 AWG (1mm).
Designed for your most
demanding applications, this cutter
is manufactured from .125” thick steel
and capable of cutting soft wire up to 12 AWG
(2mm) with ease. The oval configuration of
the cutter head offers strength and the longer
(6”, 152mm) curved handles lend additional
mechanical advantage for easier cutting. Ideal
for larger hands.
This tool is also available with an angled cutter
head (Model 420) for better access and “sight”
when cutting between beads or a bead and clasp.
Also available in a short handle configuration
(Model 2175SH).
Model 2193
Heavy Duty
Double Flush Cutter
This is the perfect tool for cutting
hard wire and memory wire up to 1mm
diameter. The Heavy Duty Double Flush
Cutter offers a nontraditional approach
to cutting. Cutting blades of this tool
completely bypass, causing them to “break”
the wire rather than squeeze it in order to cut.
As a result, both the cut and cut off sections of
wire are near perfectly square. Capable of cutting
soft wire up to 12 AWG (2mm).
Model 2193F
Heavy Duty Double
Flush Cutter with
Wire Retaining Clamps
Similar to our model 2193, but with
outside retaining clamps that hold the wire
perpendicular to the jaws for straight flat cuts
on both sides of the wire. The clamps also
prevent wire fly always, so you can keep track of
your precious metal pieces. Cuts soft wire up to
12 AWG (2mm) and hard wire up to 1.5mm.

(Chain Nose) Plier
Our “Tweezer Nose” Plier blades are
very fine and precise (like a tweezer),
with the added benefit of soft rubber grips
and a return spring for excellent control and
comfort. Great for handling delicate findings and
beads, holding wire, and flattening crimp tubes.
Model 488
Round Nose Plier
Used for looping and forming
wire. Plier blades are round at
the tip and transition to an elliptical
shape for multiple forming possibilities.
Although very delicate in appearance, the
plier blades will stay aligned (not cross)
when in use, unlike less expensive alternatives.
Model 485FN
Flat Nose Plier
Plier jaws are flat and wide
for bending, forming, grasping,
holding and flattening wire and
other materials. As with all Xuron®
brand pliers, this tool offers maximum
comfort. Traditional, bulky, drop-forged
pliers don’t compare to the quality and
versatility our pliers provide.
Model 450BN
Bent Nose Plier
A bent nose version of our model
450 Tweezer Nose Plier – great
for handling small beads or delicate
items while keeping the hand in a
horizontal position. Soft, non-slip rubber
grips and return spring offer excellent
