VaaWorldSprints.com mail@vaaworldsprints.com Sportsmans Parade, Lake Kawana Sunshine Coast, Australia Va’a World Sprints 2016 - Update December 2015 / January 2016 A quick Va’a World Sprints Update to keep all informed and help organise your visit. Transport We are currently discussing transport options with a number of service providers and need your help to determine the best possible solutions. If you are looking for event transport or large group airport transfers please submit our Transport Requirements Form at http://vaaworldsprints.com/transport.html. This will help us identify how we can best support paddlers. For large group event transport dedicated buses could be available, for small groups and individuals we are looking at the viability of a shuttle bus from a central Mooloolaba location. The provision and scheduling of these services will be subject to demand and will require pre booking and payment. These services can only be instigated if there is sufficient interest. Pease let us know what you require. We have also secured a 10% discount on small group (up to 20 people) airport transfers from Brisbane and Sunshine Coast Airports when you book directly using the link at http://vaaworldsprints.com/transport.html Nandjimadji Ceremonial Canoe The Nandjimadji Ceremonial Canoe and story are a representation of the support and respect that is at the core of Va'a paddling. The Nandjimadji Art Group connects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living with a disability to share stories and build resilience through art and yarning and we encourage all paddlers to embrace the Nandjimadji values, artists and their supporters. You can see the story of the canoe and artists at http://vaaworldsprints.com/nandjimadji.html . Official Merchandise Va’a World Sprints Official Merchandise is exclusively available from our official merchandise supplier Team Elite Merchandise. A Merchandise Superstore will be in operation at Lake Kawana during the Championships, with a comprehensive range of products available for male, female and junior competitors. To support the sharing of the Nandjimadji story Team Elite is also working on a Nandjimadji range incorporating the artwork of the Nandjimadji Art Group. Upon release these items will be available on line and at the Va’a World Sprints site. Pre-orders for the overall range of merchandise will be online from 15th February, with pre-orders closing 15th April. There is currently a small merchandise range available at the Team Elite Merchandise online store and this will be expanded over the coming months.
