Donald G. Tober Donald G. Tober joined the Board of the American Austrian Foundation in 2005. Mr. Tober is Chairman and CEO of Sugar Foods Corporation, whose widely varied product list includes Sweet ’N Low and Sugar in the Raw. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard Law School, Mr.Tober practiced law in New York City and joined Sugar Foods Corporation in 1958. Mr. Tober is Trustee Emeritus of The Culinary Institute of America and a co-founder and member of the Executive Committee of the Citymeals-on-Wheels program. He is also involved in several associations that serve to elevate the quality and appreciation of food and wine in the United States, including the Confrerie de la Chaine des Rotisseurs, Commanderie de Bordeaux, and the Chevaliers du Tastevin. Mr. Tober also serves on the boards of the New York Landmark’s Conservancy’s Board, the National Dance Institute and the Center for the Community Interest, and is a long-time supporter of many arts and cultural organizations around the City. He and his wife Barbara are seasoned world travelers and avid equestrians and skiers.
