ATM Debug Commands on Cisco IOS XR Software This module describes the commands that provide useful information for debugging the ATM component on a router running Cisco IOS XR software. Cisco IOS XR Interface and Hardware Component Debug Command Reference OL-18647-01 DHR-75 ATM Debug Commands on Cisco IOS XR Software debug atm errors debug atm errors To turn on debugging messages for ATM errors, use the debug atm errors command in EXEC mode. To disable debugging, use the no form of this command. debug atm errors [interface atm instance | location node-id] no debug atm errors [interface atm instance | location node-id] Syntax Description interface atm instance (Optional) Physical interface instance on which to turn on debugging messages for ATM errors. Naming notation is rack/slot/module/port, and a slash between values is required as part of the notation. • rack—Chassis number of the rack. • slot—Physical slot number of the card. • module—Module number. A physical layer interface module (PLIM) is always 0. • port—Physical port number of the interface. Note location node-id For more information about the syntax for the router, use the question mark (?) online help function. (Optional) Specifies a node on which to turn on all debugging messages for ATM errors. Defaults Enter the debug atm errors command without including any of the optional syntax to turn on debugging messages for all ATM interfaces configured on the router.
