The following addendum items hereby become an integral part and take precedence of the
original drawings and project manual as though originally included therein at length and shall be
so honored in the preparation of the Contractor’s bid and execution of the Contract.
GENERAL CLARRIFICATIONS AND REVISIONS
1. Wilson Mechanical Room Overhead Door Replacement and Infill
At existing exterior door opening at mechanical room (Upper Level Wing C),
remove existing overhead door unit. Remove existing hollow metal door frame
and transom unit in existing masonry opening. Prepare and paint existing steel
lintel.
Provide and install new FRP flush, double doors and transom in existing opening.
Opening is approximately 8’ wide by 14’ high. Contractor is responsible for
verifying size and conditions. Basis of Design product is Tiger Door FRP, Heavy
Duty series. Provide removable mullion between operable door leafs. Provide
manufacturer’s standard transom panel. Color as selected by the University from
manufacturer’s standard colors. Install door as per manufacturer’s written
instructions.
Provide and install related hardware including but not limited to lockset, hinges,
closer, and flush bolt as required. Coordinate hardware function, finish, and
keying with University. Hardware to meet applicable accessibility requirements.
Install door hardware as per manufacturer’s written instructions.
2. Corrections to Light Fixtures ‘G’ and ‘G1’
Provide luminaires type ‘G’ and ‘G1’ with 0-10v dimming driver BETA-CALCO#
MODC669-01; (Thomas Research driver#: LED25W-36-C0700-D)
Remove spare dimmer card at location 283 & 284 in existing ETC rack. Return
dimming card to University. Provide ETC Card ‘ELV10’ (Electronic Reverse
Phase Dimming Module) at location 283 & 284. Connect Organ LED luminaires
(type ‘D’) to dimming circuit 283. Label #284 as spare.
Remove spare dimmer card at location 285 & 286 in existing ETC rack. Return
dimming card to University. Provide ETC Card ‘R20’ (Dual 20A Relay Module) at

location 285 & 286. Connect LED wall sconces (type ‘G’ & ‘G1’) to relay 285.
Label #286 as spare (label 282 as spare, contract drawings denote circuit 282 to
be used for type ‘G’ and ‘G1’, change to 285).
Provide ETC board ‘DRD-FLO’ (0-10v dimming card) in existing equipment rack.
Connect as required. Provide 0-10v dimming wire (18awg plenum rated,
stranded copper) to type ‘G’ and Type ‘G1’ luminaires and DRD-FLO board.
Contract the services of an authorized ETC representative to adjust programming
and scenes of existing ETC dimming system to satisfy University. Integrate on/off
control and dimming levels of new luminaires as desired into existing scenes.
Create new scenes as required by University to incorporate LED dimming
sconces (type ‘G’ and ‘G1’), LED dimming organ pipe spot lights (type ‘D’), and
LED house lights (type ‘B’). Provide training for University personal for new
luminaire controls.
DRAWINGS
Drawing A-502: Replace existing drawing sheet with revised drawing A-502 (attached) which
indicates revised wheelchair seating.
