SUBJECT: FT Units. Torque Specifications on Bottom Roller Track Bolts.
KPI-JCI is requiring an inspection of the bottom
track roller and track tensioner cylinder bolts.
These bolts are M16 x 2.0, and should be
torqued to 152 ft.lbs.
Tools/Equipment Needed

Torque wrench
15/16” socket
11/16” wrench
Procedure
Use the following procedure to inspect the
bottom track roller and track tensioner cylinder
bolts.
1. Lockout/tagout all power to the track plant.
2. Inspect the bolts on the bottom roller for
correct torque. If they are not torqued
to 152 ft.lbs., then use the torque wrench
to torque them to this specification.
3. Remove the access cover plate on the
tracks. Check the track tensioner cylinder
bolts. If they are not torqued to 152 ft.lbs., use
the torque wrench to torque them to this
specification.
Three hours labor will be covered under KPI
warranty.
