• Data input through keypad, barcode reader or PC.
• Checking the power connection for induction and PE connection.
Automatic cutoff in case of hazardous fault current of the test
sample.
• No need to re-connect test samples
• Temperature and pickup ammeter measurements
• Test management with integrated schedule monitoring and
option to retrieve due dates

Characteristics:
The test device 0701/0702 3 P is used to perform checks following repairs and to perform repeat testing of non-stationary inspection,
measuring and test equipment with a connection rating of up to 25 kW. It contains all common plug receptacles for alternating and threephase current consumers. For the convenient testing of extension cables, plugs have been arranged opposite the plug receptacles. The power
supply takes place through a 32 A-CEE plug receptacle. Power cables for 16 A-CEE and grounded plugs are available. The device and its
accessories are housed in a sturdy measuring case.
The POWERTEST 0701/0702 3 P is equipped with a few features for the protection of the tester:
• The 16 A circuits are protected by separate fuses in the device.
• An integrated fault current monitor automatically cuts off the power supply from the test sample in case of hazardous fault currents
(greater than 20 mA).
• A connection identifier detects the presence of the PE connection in the system and checks the induction of the power supply.
All of the measurements take place through instrument leads with integrated line compensation.
All measurements stipulated according to DIN VDE 0701 and DIN VDE 0702 can be conducted.
Passive measurements (test sample is not supplied with current):
• Ground conductor resistance
• Insulation resistance
• Alternate leakage current
Active measurements (test sample is supplied with current through a contactor)
• Ground conductor current (differential current method)
• Contact current
• Voltage, current and output measurement through the full rated output.
Continuous differential current measurement takes place parallel to the output measurement.

The following individual measurements can be performed in addition:
• Temperature measurements using an adapter
• Pickup current measurement
Operation is done with the help of a menu with backlit LCD display. To do justice to different user groups, the user profiles
"Professional" and "Beginner" can be set. Prior to the test, the test specimen is classified to define the test routine and the
setting of the threshold values according to the VDE regulation chosen (e.g., class of protection, heating capacity, length of
ground conductor).
Separate routines are available for extension cables and hard-wired devices.
The measuring values are stored automatically in the device and can subsequently be read, printed or archived through the
PC and a convenient database and logging software (optional). The test specimens are differentiated by entering an identification
number through the keyboard or through a barcode reader that can be connected to the interface.
