Spanner Biomass CHP is classified as Advanced Gasification:
1. Electricity:
- 1.8 ROC´s per kWh (4.3 p/kWh)
- Energy sell to the grid (3.5 – 5.0 p/kWh)
2. Heat:
- RHI 6.94 p/kWh (Biogas CHP tariff) for the 95kW from CHP
- RHI (TIER 1 at 5.5 p/kWh (first 1300 operating hours) + TIER 2 at 2 p/kWh
(remaining operating hours) for the 15kW from Gasifier
