Title: Implementing the LGPQ face recognition algorithm on a MPSoC
architecture.
Abstract: The work presented in this thesis aimed at developing a new
algorithm for face recognition in terms of variables pose face images and
images with varying illuminations from large databases significantly
widespread. The proposed model is based on the fusion of several techniques to
improve the recognition rate. Thus, the implementation in C language modules
of our recognition system. In these locations, we will exploit the maximum
parallelism allowed to implement this facial recognition system on a parallel
architecture MPSoC. In order to test and validate our system and the parallel
architecture chosen, FPGAs were selected as target platforms.
