The New Hatteras GT60 to Debut at the 2010
Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show
The new GT60 is the first installment in the Hatteras GT Series, an exciting family of tournament
class convertibles designed for serious anglers. It comes to market with best-in-class
performance, unforgettable styling, and a construction pedigree that has made Hatteras Yachts
the gold standard for more than 50 years. Scheduled to debut this fall at the Ft. Lauderdale
International Boat Show, the new Hatteras GT60 is the culmination 50 years of leadership in
convertible design and propulsion development, combined with the latest technological advances
in materials and methods utilized in fiberglass construction.

The new Hatteras GT60 takes its exterior design cues from the current 60, but a newly
redesigned cockpit and a touch of panache added to the overall design give this 60 a unique style
of her own. The interior accommodations found in the GT60 are not only more open, but are
designed with a level of sophistication not often found in a convertible. Larger window framing
allows for better views, and beautifully combined wall coverings and exotic woods create a more
open layout while continuing to provide a warm and luxurious environment.
But what is most noticeable about the GT60 is its performance. When Hatteras first launched the
current 60 Convertible it offered an optional “GT Tournament Edition” package. This upgrade
included larger engines and additional weight savings to create a 40-knot boat that took the
industry by storm. With its rugged, lightweight build combined with an aggressive propulsion
