About the College
The very name Jeppiaar has grown to be synonymous
with excellence in education and the Jeppiaar Educational
Trust was formed in 1987, with the sole purpose of
providing cutting edge technical education that is both
accessible and affordable by establishing premier colleges
of Engineering and Management studies. Under the aegis of
our honorable Chairman esteemed Colonel Dr. Jeppiaar,
M.A., B.L., Ph.D,, Jeppiaar Engineering College was
inaugurated on 15th August 2001 as one of the spearheading
institutions of Jeppiaar Educational Trust. The Director of
the college Mrs. Regeena Jeppiaar, B.Tech., M.B.A.,
(Ph.D.), daughter of Col. Dr. Jeppiaar, M.A., B.L., Ph.D,
has led the college from its fledgling state to an institution
to reckon with.
About the Conference
The Second International Conference on Science
Technology Engineering Management (JEPPIAAR –
ICONSTEM’16) on 30th & 31st March, 2016 is organized
by the departments of MBA and English. The main aim of
the conference is to provide a platform for the research
scholars to expose their ideas in the emerging field of
Management & English. We are facing difficult times due to
global warming and other factors. Some of the challenges
that the governments and communities should prepare to
face the disaster management, managers could appreciate
the enormous task that they have on hand in future.
Frequency and intensity of disasters are increasing. At the
same time, response management is becoming increasingly
difficult due to variety of reasons such as population
growth, climate change and democratization of information,
which makes incumbent upon us to bring about
recommended changes in approach, policy, legislation etc.
The technical program of the conference will include
tutorials, key note address, contributed paper presentations
and Posters. Experts in the field from India and around the
globe are expected to attend the conference.

The paper should be original, unpublished research work
that is not being currently considered for publication in a
journal or conference. Kindly submit the full length paper in
MS Word Format, Times New Roman, font size 12 pt. in
accordance with JEPPIAAR – ICONSTEM’16 format not
exceeding six pages as an email attachment to
iconstem2016emic@gmail.com. Selected papers must be
presented by atleast one of the authors and it will be published
in a reputed Journal indexed by Anna University Annex.-I,
Annex-II, Scopus, Google scholar & Copernicus on payment of
additional cost.
