Table Tennis Club
A typical match is best 3 out of 5 games. The first
player to reach 11 points wins that game, although a
game must be won by at least two points. Each player
serves two points in a row. However, if a score of 10-10
is reached, then each player serves only one point
before switching servers. After each game, the players
switch sides of the table. In the final game (i.e. 5th
game), the players switch sides again after either player
reaches 5 points.
DRESS CODE
Clothes have to be a color different from the ball in use
(white or orange).
OPEN PLAY RULES

Bring a friend or come alone and find playing partners
at the club! When you arrive, sign up at a table. When
your name is called, play the winner of the table. Or if
tables are open, invite someone to play with you.
FUN FACT!
The name ping-pong™ is trademarked by Parker
Brothers, who wanted a huge sum of money from
USATT for the rights to that name. In response, the
community gave the sport its own name: table tennis.

Trolley Car Table Tennis Club is a USATTaffiliated nonprofit table tennis club located
in the East Falls section of Philadelphia. It is
the only full-time table tennis club open to
all players in the Philadelphia region. The
Club features eight tournament quality
Killerspin tables in well-lit 20’x30’ courts.
TCTTC is easily accessible by public
transportation and major highways (Routes
76 and 1). Complimentary racquets and balls
and free wifi are available.
