Packing and labelling
Unaddressed direct mail
Packing on pallets:
EUR pallets must be used
 Maximum weight per pallet: 800 kg
 Maximum height per pallet: 120 cm
The items
 must be packed properly, and no items must hang off the pallet on any side. Any
plastic wrapping or straps surrounding the pallet must not be so tight that the items
are being bent or damaged
 shall as far as possible be facing the same direction. Contact our customer service for
guidance
 must be spread evenly on the pallet, especially if the number of items are too few to
make up a full pallet
 must always be secured adequately to avoid that items are slipping or falling over
during transportation. Note that pallets can be stacked on top of each other during
transportation
 must be packed with only one logo/distributor per pallet
Items individually stacked on pallets
When the items are stacked individually on EUR-pallets, adequately securing can be done in
different ways depending on the layout of the mailing:
 Plastic, pallet lids with cross-strapping
 Pallet lids with cross-strapping
 Plastic straps with cross-strapping
Bundles on pallets
Mailings that are not suitable to be packaged individually on pallets and items with special
formats must be packed in bundles and strapped (no plastic or boxes) before packed safely
on pallets.
 All bundles must have an even number of items
 Maximum weight per bundle is 6 kg
Single bundles
If the number of items is too few to cover one layer on the pallet, the items can be handed in
in boxes or as single bundles. Make sure to strap the bundles/boxes securely. Maximum
weight per bundle/box is 6 kg
Pallet labels and consignment note
Pallets, boxes and single bundles must be clearly marked with pallet labels and a
consignment note must follow the mailing when handing in. Pallet labels must be placed on
the short side of the pallet and must be easily readable. Make sure that the pallet straps do
not cover the label.
Pallet labels and consignment notes are to be printed by the customer or a third party
designated by the customer to be responsible for packing and handing in the mailing. The
pallet label is fitted with a unique barcode, and should therefore not be copied.

If ordered online you will automatically receive an e-mail with a link to our website, where
to print pallet labels and consignment note.
If ordered through customer service, use login on bring.com/mybring to print your pallet
labels and consignment note.
On our website you will also find details concerning:
 the number of items to be packed to each Distribution centre
 the number of copies per logo/distributor when applicable
Calculate how many items to pack on each pallet/bundle, in order to print the correct number
of pallet labels. Pallet labels are numbered with for example: Hamar PRS: 1 of 4, Hamar PRS:
2 of 4. (PRS = Distribution centre). If miscalculated the first time, go back to make necessary
corrections. Remember to print an updated consignment note.
Handing in
The consignment note must be handed in along with the mailing. The consignment note is a
summary of your order and the basis for invoicing of the actual mailing.
To avoid breaking up packaging, please note that 15 copies of the items must be annexed to
the consignment note. Random control of the content may also occur.
The handing in must be in accordance with the handing in point and date stated on the
labels. If changes are required, please contact your sales representative in Bring or our
customer service on telephone 04045.
By agreement and based on our capacity at the Post terminal, handing in can take place up
to 3 days prior to the originally agreed handing in date. Even if an agreement has not been
entered, we will be as accommodating as possible to process your handing-in. Our unloading
capacity is depending on number of customers already scheduled for handing-in on that
particular day. Delays in unloading must be expected as regular customers will be first in line.
Consequences of deviation
Bring requires that pallets are packed in such a way that neither the items on top or bottom
of the pallet can be damaged. Items damaged due to poor packaging will not be
compensated by Bring, and may cause that parts of the mailing/campaign is not being
delivered.
Deviations from the above mentioned terms may cause that the mailing is not accepted for
delivery. Deviations discovered on already handed in mailings may cause delays in delivery
and extra costs. All extra costs are payable by the customer.
