Thank you for your request for information dated 17 March 2011, which we
have handled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Please find below the answers to your questions:
1. How many Staff (full head-count NOT WTE's) are employed in IT functions?

JNCC has a Dataservices team that provides both the internal support for the
infrastructure as well as a range of internal and external projects. The total
team size is sixteen. This roughly breaks down as follows (but note that a
single member of staff may operate across a range of competencies and the
exact balance will vary through time):
3 staff providing support for the basic IT infrastructure
4 application developers
2 data analysts
4 data specialists
2 support officers
1 team manager
