TM VOICE Introducing Diversa, a complete line of occupancy sensors using advances not yet offered by the marketplace. Each sensor uses minimal parasitic power, passive detection technologies and convenience features that are completely right for today’s world. Whether it is new construction or retrofit, Diversa occupancy sensors provide the right mix of technology, esthetic looks and practicality. ADI Voice Technology (Patent Pending) Accurate Detection Intelligence (ADI) – Voice technology uses advanced digital signal processing for accurate detection of human speech, minimizing common causes of false triggers such as HVAC noise, traffic, music or vibration. After the PIR sensor detects motion, ADI-Voice technology engages to maintain the occupied state until the space is truly vacant. Two Programming Methods Factory default configurations can be modified using DIP switches and rotary dials located under a convenient cover plate. Alternatively, an IR setting unit with LCD display may be used for fast configuration changes. The IR setting unit accesses all configuration properties and provides significant time savings in the commissioning process. Simply aim and press to read sensor configuration properties. There is no need to remove the cover to check sensor programming and reconfiguration is just as easy. The DIP switches and rotary dials can be used whenever the IR setting unit is not available. Self-Adapting Technology Diversa sensors can be placed in manual or automatic mode. In manual mode, time-out and sensitivity levels can be set to match specified requirements. In automatic mode, a sophisticated algorithm is used to track occupancy tendencies to maximize energy savings. Ceiling Sensors with Adjustable Tilting Lens No lens masking is required to prevent over coverage in areas beyond monitored space. Simply tilt the lens away from unwanted areas. In rooms with vaulted ceilings tilt the lens to compensate for the ceiling slant and achieve maximum coverage. Smart Sensing Features When vacancy occurs, sensitivity of the ADI-Voice technology transitions from maximum to zero over an adaptively determined time period, based on occupancy tendencies. During this period, ADI-Voice can turn the lights back on immediately, even with no line-of-sight to the sensor, assuring the best combination of user convenience and energy savings. Energy consumption due to false triggers is minimized by the automatic walk-through mode. This feature turns the lights off after 3 minutes if no occupancy detection occurs in the first 30 seconds after initial turn on. Configurable Options Each building is unique in its lighting control needs. Diversa sensors provide the user with a wide variety of configuration options, to ensure each buildings individual needs are met. • Vacancy timeout 30 sec - 30 min • Adjustable PIR Sensitivity • Adjustable ADI-Voice Technology • Enable/Disable ADI-Voice Detection • Manual override switch set to OFF in addition to ON/OFF • Enable/Disable LED Indicators • Disable manual override on wall switch models • Output configurable as auto ON/OFF or auto OFF (vacancy sensor excepted) • Alternating output for 2-pole modules to provide even lamp wear • 2-pole models, configurable for several different operating sequences (see manual for details) • Auxiliary relay can be synchronized with output status or with occupancy status • Photo sensor options for dimming and switching control • Enable/Disable Walk Through Mode TM TM Part Numbering Chart Product Class Housing Type WO = Occupancy Sensor S = Wall Switch WV = Vacancy Sensor R = Recessed Ceiling Mount W = Wall Mount Sensing Range S = Standard, Wall Switch or Recess Mount Sensing Technology X = Extended, Recess Mount I = Passive Infrared B = High-Bay Recess Mount D = Dual Technology C = Corner Range, Wall Mount L = Large Area Pattern, Wall Mount Power Type Functional Options 3 = Line Voltage: 347VAC D = Dimming D = Low Voltage: 24VAC Input, with Diode Pulse (2-wire) output P = Photo Sensing & Control U = Line Voltage: 120-277VAC Number of Poles R = Isolated Relay 1 = Single Pole N = None 2 = Two Pole Environment L = Low Temp/High Humidty V = Vandal Resistant, Wall Switch N = None Product Class: Occupancy Sensor Color Options Housing Type: Wall Switch W = White Sensing Range: Standard Sensing Technology: Dual Tech Power Type: 120-277V # of Poles: 2-Pole Functional Options: Photo Environmental: Low Temp Environmental: Vandal Resist Color: White WOSSDU2-P-LV-W Example: WOSSDU2-P-LV-W, Wall switch occupancy sensor, standard range, dual-tech, 120-277V, 2-Pole, photo control, vandal resistant lens, low temp, white See product data sheets for specific ordering details Manufactured by Douglas Lighting Controls Douglaslightingcontrol.com/products/diversa-sensors
