Applicant must be a master’s degree holder, from Sultan Qaboos University, or any other recognized institution in a field related to the program applied for. 2. Applicant must have a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of not less than 3.00 on a 4.00 point scale or equivalent. The Deanship of Postgraduate Studies will make the assessment for equivalency acceptance. 3. Applicant working in Oman must submit a release letter for 4 years from employer. addressed to the dean of postgraduate studies at SQU. Unemployee Omani applicants need to submit a statement from The Public Authority of Manpower Register documenting the unemployment status of the applicant. 4. Applicant must submit a statement on objectives and goals of the research proposed. 5. Applicant must submit three letters of references, at least two from academics, to show competence in the discipline of interest and research capability. 6. Applicant must submit an English Proficiency Test Certificate with the level required for the program applied for, provided that the test date is less than two years from the date of the announcement. Applicant must submit a release letter or a study leave from employer for full-time study or a no objection letter for part-time study, addressed to the Dean of Postgraduate Studies at SQU. However SQU provides scholarships for candidates to compete for according to the scholarship’s criteria stated on the Deanship web page.
