About ATC-Nuclear
Argo Turboserve Corporation (ATC) was founded in
1996, based on a Spare Parts Supply Chain Agreement
with a major Power Generation (OEM). This program
allowed ATC to develop world-class sporadic inventory
forecasting models. ATC formed the Utilities Services
Division (USD) in 2000 based on additional contracts
with the power generation industry, lead by a contract
with the largest nuclear utility in North America to
manage its investment recovery program.
To better serve the needs of our growing customer base
and to better coordinate the operations of the various sub
-divisions of the Utility Services Division (USD) of Argo
Turboserve, Corp. the name of the division was changed
in December 2009, to ATC-Nuclear, a division of ATC.
Schenectady, NY Facility
The success of our programs has required ATC-Nuclear to
expand our offices. The office in Schenectady, NY moved
into a 22,000 sq ft building and the Knoxville, TN office
was relocated to Oak Ridge, TN. The Oak Ridge facility is
comprised of approximately 57,200 sq ft of warehouse
space, and approximately 19,000 sq ft of office,
engineering, and testing space.
Instrumentation & Controls Laboratory
ATC-Nuclear’s Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) team
has almost 50 years of combined hands-on experience in
the electrical and mechanical field solving industrial
control problems that include reverse engineering,
manufacturing complex obsolete circuit boards, designing
production machinery and repairing electro-mechanical
assemblies. Our experience also includes expertise in
power electronics and power supplies for military
applications, along with solving electrical problems for
nuclear plants, turbine generator installations, power
electronics industry, and many production facilities.
The I&C Laboratory at ATC-Nuclear specializes in all
areas relevant to repair, refurbishment, reverse
engineering, manufacturing, and inventory management
of obsolete circuit boards and power supplies for the
nuclear and commercial industries. ATC’s many years of
nuclear experience include dedication testing of
commercial grade electronics for use in safety-related
applications; developing dedication testing plans for
circuit boards, power supplies, and instrumentation and
control devices; reverse engineering to eliminate obsolete
parts issues; performing numerous equivalency
evaluations; and performing component and system level
troubleshooting and start-up evaluations.
Our in-house assembly, troubleshooting, testing, and
manufacturing capabilities position ATC-Nuclear to
handle all customer needs for refurbishing, repairing, or
providing direct equivalent replacement circuit boards,
instrument modules, power supplies, and other control
devices.

This brochure represents many reverse engineered products that ATC-Nuclear offers to address the
obsolescence issues plaguing the industry. Common commercial grade components are used to
provide innovative solutions to retain the same form, fit and function as the original unit. While
operating under a strict QA program, commercial grade dedication, and qualification testing of
the final product are preformed to classify an item as safety related.
ATC-Nuclear’s Instrumentation and Controls Lab is readily available to work with plant engineers
to address obsolescence by providing reverse engineering services, repair of power supplies and
controls, field service repair, consultation and evaluation, and design and manufacture of new
