Curriculum Vitae Professor Laura Strohmenger
She has a degree in Biology and Medicine, specializing in Clinical and Odontostomatology in Hygiene and
Preventive Medicine , since 1983 has been Coordinator of the Centre for Epidemiology and Community
Dentistry Oral Health Organization at the University of Milan. Since 1990 he is Professor at the Master of
Science in Dentistry , Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Milan and teaches Child
Dentistry , Behavioral Sciences and Oral Hygiene and Prevention . It ' a teacher at the school specialty of
Orthodontics , Pediatric and Preventive Medicine and Hygiene and Dental Hygiene Degree at the University
of Milan. It ' the author of 302 scientific publications and has participated in numerous national and
international conferences . It ' was the Medical Director of the Dental Building SpA from 2003 to 2005 and
Director of Basic Child Dentistry .
In 2004 he was appointed Member of the Coordinating Group of the Regional Project "Promotion of Oral
Health in England " and in 2006 the appointment is renewed.
Since 2005 he is the Scientific Coordinator of the Project of Preventive Dentistry Tuscany.
In 2006 he was appointed by the Ministry of Health , an expert of the Board of Health for the years 2006/ 09
In 2007 he was appointed by the Ministry of Health, Department of Prevention and Communication ,
supervisor and member of the National Working Group for the elaboration of " national guidance on the
promotion of oral health and prevention of oral diseases in children and adolescents ."
In 2009 he was appointed representative of Pedodontics in the Teaching Council of the Faculty.
From January 2006 to March 2009 Director of the Department of Dentistry and Otolaryngology of the
Hospital of St. Paul.
Since 1 April 2009 he was appointed Medical Director of the Dental Clinic of the Hospital of St. Paul
Since 2008 he has been Chairman of the Master of Science in Technical Jobs welfare .
In 2009 he was nominated by the Deputy Minister of Health in the Working Group , "Guidelines for the
promotion of oral health and prevention of oral diseases in children and adolescents in individuals who have
to undergo chemo therapy and radio ."
In 2011 participates in the WHO- project - Ginevra WISDOM Web of Italian Sentinel Dentist Observatory
Method.
