Café El Sol can accommodate up to 130 people and offers onsite catering. The menu is flexible and
varied including many of our Mexican and Puerto Rican specialties. Large meetings and groups can
use a buffet style meal, while smaller groups can arrange to order off the menu.
Meetings, conferences, and catering generally occur during business hours. Any events taking place
after hours or needing additional personnel may incur a separate staffing fee (Wait Staff/Bartender
$15/hour and Security $30/hour).
Cafe el Sol is open Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. — 8:00 p.m.
and Friday 7:30 a.m. — 8:30 p.m.

If you wish for additional appetizers we can accommodate, but we would
suggest you consider the lunch or dinner for your guests.
Price per person ranges from $11-15 depending on entrée selections.
For standard lunch and dinner meetings, groups may choose two entrees from the list below. Included
with buffet: tossed green salad with choice of dressing, rice, beans, tortilla chips with salsa picante, and soda.
1. Chimichangas- beef, chicken or cheese, folded in a flour tortilla and deep fried.
2. Enchiladas-beef, chicken or cheese and onion, wrapped in a tortilla and topped with our special guajillo sauce and cheese
3. Burritos-choice of beef, chicken or beans and cheese, wrapped in flour tortillas and topped with cheese
4. Pollo Fricase-stewed chicken, served with white rice
5. Baked Chicken-specially seasoned chicken
6. Chicken Mole-baked chicken covered with a traditional chocolate and pepper red sauce
7. Lechon– lightly seasoned pork roast, served with Puerto Rican rice
8. Fajita (chicken or steak)-grilled onions with green and red peppers, your choice of steak, chicken or vegetarian
7. Steak Ranchero– strip steak, prepared with green peppers and onions
9. Beef Stir Fry -thinly sliced steak, sautéed with special seasonings
10. Barbacoa-baked shredded beef, seasoned with a blend of Mexican spices
11. Shrimp--shrimp simmered to perfection in your choice of butter, garlic or tomato sauce.
12. Churrasco–grilled steak served with chimichurri sauce.
Additional entrees are charged at $3.95 per person, an addition of an hors d’ oeuvre results in an additional $2.95 per person charge.
Hors d’ oeuvre menus may be served stand alone without a full buffet at a charge of $8.25 per person. A taco buffet bar is also available.
Reservations should be made as early as possible. Café el sol requires a final guaranteed catering count 1.5 weeks prior to function.
The final catering count will be the number for which the group is billed.
