NASA isn’t the only organization to worry about computers malfunctioning at inopportune times (is there ever an opportune time?). Computer Service Technology is the highly valued troubleshooting arm of any information technology or related department. It involves the diagnosis and repair of computers and computerized equipment, and it requires a thorough understanding of the digital electronic circuitry essential for their functioning. at Macomb Community College The Program In the Computer Service Technology Program at Macomb, you will acquire a solid foundation in electronic circuitry, and learn testing and troubleshooting techniques as well as replacement procedures for defective components. You’ll study current operating systems and build a computer from the ground up. You’ll also construct and program a small, roaming, computerized robot.
