SERF/LEED cost comparison
For an office building of 75,000 square feet, according to
*GSA’s study, the cost of LEED soft costs alone would be
between ) $0.8 - 1$ per square foot (for a gold certified
building).
That would be a total of between $60,750 and $75,000
(This does not include design and construction costs or
certification fee.)
On the contrary, the total cost of SERF for the same
building including verification is around 20% of the
LEED total cost

determine the added costs of LEED certifications
