1.Introduction
Thank you for choosing Q9 v3.0. Quikcell Q9 v3.0 Bluetooth
Headset allows you to make or receive handsfree calls.
Please read this user manual carefully before using the
headset. You might also need to read the manual of your
phone, which provides important information of operation
and safety.
Before using Q9 v3.0:
1.Please read through the user manual in its entirety.
Please follow the rules in this manual to ensure your
safety.
2.Be cautious of any edges, uneven surfaces, metal parts,
accessories and packaging so as to prevent any
possible injury or damage.
3.Do not modify, repair or dismantle this Headset. Doing
so may result in fires, electric shocks, complete failure
of this Headset, etc. (All of which, are not covered under
warranty)
4.Do not use any diluents or volatile liquid to clean the
Headset.
5.Do not use the Headset in a hazardous location.

4.Operating Instructions
4.1General Operations:
Turn on the headset
Language Selection
Press and hold MFB (Multi-function
Button) for 4 seconds, when LED start
blinking. You can hear a voice prompt
“ p ower is on”
At the first time of use, you have the
option to select a language for voice
prompts after the device is powered on.
To reset language, press and hold
“MFB” and “Vol+”at same time until
power off. When the headset is powered
on next time, language selection is
available again.
Turn off the headset
When headset is on, press and hold
MFB for 4 seconds, when LED flashes
twice in red. You can hear a voice
prompt “p o wer is off”at the same time.
Entering pairing mode
If your Q9 headset has not been paired
to any mobile phones, it enters pairing
mode when the power is on. If the
headset has been paired to some
phone before and you need to pair it
with a new phone, press and hold MFB
for 6 seconds until the LED flashes in
red and blue alternatively. You will hear
a voice prompt “ready to pair”, and the
following prompts will guide you to sync
the headset with your phone.
Entering pairing mode
After paired,the voice prompt“phone
one/two connected”.
Answer a call
Press MFB to answer an incoming call.
Voice prompt: “Incoming call - phone
one/two”.
Reject a call
Press and hold MFB for 2 seconds and
you will hear a 'beep'.Voice prompt: “call
terminated - phone one/two”.
End a call
Press MFB to terminate the current call.
Voice prompt: “call terminated - phone
one/two”.
Increase volume
Tap “Vol+”.When reaching the maximum
volume, voice prompt: “volume highset”.
Decrease volume
Tap “Vol-”.When reaching the minmum
volume, voice prompt: “volume lowest”.
Voice dial
Tap MFB when Q9 is connected to the
phone and in standby mode.
Last number redial
Press and hold MFB for two seconds,
it will dial the last number in your
phone call history.
4.2 Pairing Q9 v3.0 to mobile phones
To use your Bluetooth headset Q9 v3.0, you must first pair it
to the mobile phone. Pairing is a one-time process. Once your
headset is paired to your mobile phone, they will remain paired
and automatically recognize each other whenever they are
within a certain range.
If the connection between the phone and headset is lost, tap
the Multi-function Button (MFB) on the headset to reconnect.
If headset has not been paired to your phone before, follow
the Voice prompt from the device or the steps below:
Turn on your phone and ensure its Bluetooth function is activated.
If there is no previous paired phone within 33 ft range, Q9 will enter
pairing mode automatically after power on. The LED flashes in blue
and red alternatively. If Q9 is previously paired to another phone in
range, press and hold MFB for about 6 seconds from OFF mode until
the LED indicator light flashes in blue and red alternatively.
Search Bluetooth devices on your phone by following the phone's
instructions. Refer to your phone's user manual for more information.
After a few seconds the phone will list “Qnine 3.0” as a discovered
device. Select it and follow your phone instructions to pair to it.
Your phone may request a passkey or PIN#, input “0000”. If your
phone has “Simple Pairing” feature, you will not be asked for it.
Your phone will confirm the pairing. It may also ask if you want to
connect to Q9 3.0. Select Yes/OK.
You may now use your Q9 v3.0 headset properly.
Q9 v3.0 headset supports multi-connectivity. To pair the 2nd phone,
turn off Q9 v3.0 and then press and hold MFB to enter pairing mode.
Follow the instructions above to pair the headset with the phone until
you hear "Phone 2 is connected". Then go to the Bluetooth menu of
Phone 1 and connect to "Q9 3.0". You will here "Phone 1 is connected".
5.Charging Q9 v3.0
If the voice prompt says “battery is low” ,you need to charge
your Q9 v3.0 headset.
Q9 v3.0 headset is easy to connect to a wall outlet or a USB
charger through a computer. Make sure that your Q9 v3.0
Bluetooth headset is fully charged for at least 4 hours
before initial use. Insert one end of your charger to a wall
outlet (AC Charger) or the USB port of your PC and the
other end to the charging jack on side of Q9 (USB Charger).
While being charged, the LED indicator of your headset
remains red. When the charging is complete, the LED
becomes blue.
You must only use the charger that is included.
You must recharge the Headset if it has not been
used for more than 12 months.

to the R&TTE Directive): Articles 3.1a, 3.1b and 3.2. The
product is manufactured in accordance with the Annex 2 of
the above directive.
Declaration of Conformity (DOC)
The Bluetooth Headset is compliant with and adopts the
Bluetooth specification 3.0 and has successfully passed
all the interoperability tests that are specified in the
Bluetooth specification.
However, interoperability between the device and other
Bluetooth enable products is not guaranteed.
8.Warranty & Return Policy
Alpha Comm Enterprises, Inc. warrants this product as free
of defects in material, design and workmanship for the
period of one year from the original date of purchase. The
warranty is limited to the original purchaser. If during the
period of warranty this product proves defective under
normal use and service you should return the product to
the retailer from whom it was purchased or to an authorized
repair center.
The liability of Alpha Comm Enterprises, Inc. and its
appointed repair company is limited to the cost of repair
and/or replacement of the product under warranty.
Products sent for warranty service must be accompanied
by a copy of the original purchase receipt, the original box,
materials and accessories. All cost associated with the
return of the product under warranty are the responsibility
of the original purchaser. A $6.95 Shipping and Handling
Fee will apply in order for Alpha Comm Enterprises, Inc.
To ship out a new/refurbished product to customer. Alpha
Comm Enterprises, Inc. will not assume any responsibility
for any loss or damage incurred in shipping.
