Product Specification
Product development of the ARB Classic canopy to suit the new
Nissan Navara NP300 Euro-Spec 2015+ dual cab pick-up utilities
has been finalised.
Complementing the design flow of the vehicle and the high sided tub, the ARB canopy design is available as a standard height roof version in either Smooth or Textured
exterior finish. Customers may choose from our side sliding window, lift up window
or no side window configuration. Where side windows are optioned, they are positioned low on the canopy shell to maximise the access into the back of the vehicle.
The canopy shell accommodates the protrusion of the vehicle’s 3rd safety lamp
located on the top rear edge of the cabin. Due to the NP300 being slightly
narrower in the vehicle cabin design, the front canopy window is offered only in
sliding configuration to avoid interference with internal frames where fitted. The
window has been designed to offer clear and unobstructed rear vision with the
provision to easily clean the vehicle cabin rear glass.

With the introduction of Nissan’s unique tailgate spoiler, ARB have designed
a curved glass door manufactured from grey tinted and tempered safety glass
to EC43R standards, which not only complements the spoiler with its
contoured edging, it also includes the addition of a aluminium extrusion which
mounts directly to the tailgate spoiler to assist with minimising water and dust
ingress. Each rear door is fitted with a high mount LED stop lamp, a forward
facing interior light and specially selected gas assist struts with low opening
force (160N) suitable for a climate range of -30°C to 80°C.
ARB’s unique laser cut steel mount system is bolted directly into fixed
fasteners located at the front and rear of the vehicle tub which also integrate
with ute liners (where fitted) with minimal modifications.
ARB canopy shells are made from a special co-extruded ABS plastic for strength
and durability. The ABS is inert and with suitable venting is safe for the
transportation of animals. As a recyclable material we have the opportunity to
reduce the amount of landfill at end of product life. The heavy duty painted
smooth canopy blends with the smooth surface of the vehicle whilst the
economical alternative is the white textured surface canopy with UV capping
where painting is optional. Shell surface configurations are captured in our

For trade and lifestyle customers, we are thrilled to offer our standard side
windows with the large 278mm opening to access the cargo area for a vast
array of tools or camping equipment. Window combinations are captured in

additional bracket with foam seal is fitted to

Installation
For those familiar with ARB canopies, the Nissan Navara NP300 canopy is fitted in the same traditional way along with the inclusion of the tailgate spoiler
door stop extrusion and corner tailgate seal assemblies.
Installation time
Fitment time allocation is 2.5 hours1. Fitting instructions are available via our
trade resources website PN 3789364.
Additional installation time required if sport bars and ute liners are fitted

Canopy Availability
Our components will be in stock in June 2016 to enable canopies to be made to
ORDER order.
N.B. Due to the style of this vehicle, overall vehicle aesthetics and fitment of
roof rack accessories, a high roof canopy has been excluded from the range.

ACCESSORIES:
A new internal frame kit has been made specifically to suit the Nissan Navara NP300
Dual Cab canopy. The ARB internal frame kit is rated to carry up to 100kg load evenly
spread over the roof bar system (e.g. the roof cage and its contents must not exceed
this rating).
To accommodate for the OE fitted cabin roof rails found on ST-X models, specific roof
rack mounts have been designed to suit. In addition, specific roof racks must be used
when being fitted to these ST-X models.
