Return Material Authorization Procedure Sensor Re-calibration RMA Program 1. Please request a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number by emailing us at, rma@degreeC.com, or by calling us a 1-877-degreeC and asking for the RMA coordinator. When calling, please be prepared to provide the following information: Your name, company, telephone, FAX and email information Quantity of products to be returned, with corresponding Degree Controls part number and serial number Reason for product return Alternatively, you may email us a completed RMA request form (see attached) and email to the RMA coordinator at rma@DegreeC.com. 2. A purchase order number or advance payment to cover estimated charges will be requested at the time the RMA Coordinator issues an RMA number. For international or cash in advance customers, a proforma invoice will be sent to you upon disposition of product repair listing all charges incurred. NOTE: In-warranty product can incur costs though damage, misuse, cosmetic issue or no problem found. 3. Once an RMA number has been issued, the RMA form shall be updated and resent in a confirmation e-mail or FAX with shipping instructions. All product returned to Degree Controls should be marked to the attention of the RMA Number (Attn: RMA #1234) and sent to the address provided. For both in-warranty and out-of-warranty repairs, you are responsible for paying your outbound freight expense, any applicable import and/or export duties and taxes. Degree Controls will pay the return freight expense for in warranty repairs. 4. It is preferable that the original packing, including any anti-static and/or foam packing be used on all returned product. Should the original product packing not be available, then adequate packing should be used, taking into account the method of shipment of the returned product. You are responsible for delivering the returned product to Degree Controls safely and undamaged. 5. The RMA number should be clearly marked on all returned boxes, packages and accompanying paperwork. RMA’s received by the RMA coordinator that are not clearly marked may experience delays in processing. 6. International RMA’s will require payment of a proforma invoice. Wire payments are subject to a $25 handling fee. 7. On receipt of product returned under an RMA number, a Receipt Notification e-mail or fax will be sent to you by the RMA coordinator confirming receipt of product and quantities received. Please check the Receipt Notification to assure the product and quantity of product received by Degree Controls matches what you shipped. 8. RMA numbers are only valid for thirty (30) days. RMA numbers older than thirty (30) days need to be revalidated by calling the RMA coordinator before product is returned. Failure to comply with the above may delay the processing of your RMA. If the amount due remains unpaid thirty (30) days after delivery of such written notice to Customer, Degree Controls at its option, shall have the right to retain the product or dispose of such product.
